He's always put up for interviews, should let him just do them in french all the time as its great to hear his opinion in detail especially for this as we are playing a french team.

You get out of a good game in Hamilton (1-4 victory) after a small game against St Johnstone (1-1) ... Yes, it's a nice win that we went to get outside. It went very well, a good victory, on came back all a little selection, it is a very positive result for the team.

The Celtic goal after a record season last season (0 defeat in the championship), what is it? The goal is to make the same minimum season as last year. Obviously, we hope better. They won everything last season: league, cup and league cup. We will also try to do better in the Champions League (Celtic finished 4th in his group with 3 points, behind Barça, Manchester City and Mönchengladbach, ed.).

You came this season from Manchester City. How is your adaptation?

    Frankly, very well

"The club still put millions on me, so I'm happy to be there. "
The players and the staff welcomed me very well. There are players with whom I've played before in Manchester City, including Dedryck Boyata, so everything is going very well and I'm very happy to be part of that team. The club still put millions on me, so I'm happy to be there. Then there's competition and that's fine. If I am on the ground, so much the better, if I am not, I will have to continue working.

What were the words of Brendan Rodgers to motivate you to join Celtic?

What the coach proposed to me was playing time, an opportunity to win titles and especially the opportunity to play the Champions League. And he also said, "You have to know that when you go to a club that plays the Champions League, the day you leave this club, you will want to return to a club that plays the Champions League. When he told me that, I immediately joined. Already, it is a competition that I have never played ... it is therefore a new challenge for me. The Celtic was my first choice, it was clear and clear despite other contacts.

Last season, you were lent to Genoa. Was not it an objective to be transferred there?
Not at all. It was pretty good at first. The first games were encouraging, but afterwards, it became a bit more complicated. At the end of the season, I had more playing time, especially when Ivan Jurić, the coach of the beginning of the season, came back when Mandorlini got fired. So at the end of the season, it was certain that I wanted to leave. Basically, I wanted to leave in January, but the leaders did not want to let me go. At the end of the season, apparently, they wanted to buy me, but I did not want to stay there

Did you have any discussions with Pep Guardiola about your situation in City when you returned from the loan?

No, I did not have a discussion with Guardiola.

"I knew that if I returned to Manchester City, they would still lend me ..."

My situation was quite simple: I did not want to stay in Genoa, I did not want to go back to Manchester City. I knew that if I returned to City they would still lend me and I really wanted to find stability in my life and in my career.

Tonight, you will play your first match of Champions League ...

Yeah, I'm really excited and very happy to play against Paris Saint-Germain. I really hope we do a good job. It's been a long time. I really wanted to play the Champions League. It's like a dream come true. The more you play big competitions, the more ambitions you have, and that's what I want.

The PSG is one of the teams contending for the final victory and is already very strong at the beginning of the season. Is there a strategy to stop them?

Does the Mbappé-Cavani-Neymar attack trio frighten you?

I really fear the team more than the players. Because one without the other, it does not exist. It is a team that plays very well with the ball and especially that has very good individuals, so we will remain focused on the team rather than on these three players.

It's still an advantage to play Celtic Park to create the feat, right?

Yes, an achievement is totally possible! The Celtic Park audience is doing us a lot of good. The atmosphere is amazing. When we are on the field, it is the twelfth man! When you tackle or when you release a good balloon, which seems rather banal, they will encourage you thoroughly, swing "Come on! ", It's really nice to be supported like that.

You who was born in the Paris region, what makes you play PSG?

I'm a supporter of Paris Saint-Germain and I've always been.

It's going to make me play something against them. It is a team that I am regularly, I try to watch all matches, I support them. When they score, it does something to me so today, playing against them is truly a privilege. And of course, if I have the opportunity to score, I score. I will not ask the question twice!

Slow in the press, lethargic on the ball.

His worst display so far. Did he find his man with three passes tonight.

Showed flashes of class but didn't exert any influence on the game, played within himself, showed far too much respect.

At his age, it can be forgiven, just learn quickly son, cause you have the ability to make the difference for us.

Thought he should have been subed instead of Armstrong at least Armstrong provides energy..

Although slightly better in the 2nd he was the most disappointing performance of all for me..

He's looked so good, I really thought he could make a difference at this level..and he may still, but tonight is a night to forget for him..

Far too many times stood about like his feet were nailed down to the pitch - especially a few times when Sinky was ran into the wide areas being marked by 2-3 men, and Ntcham just stood watching instead of offering any support.

Terrible game, needs to up the pressing and get his heed oot the sand.

One thing he will have learned from tonight, at this level you don't get time on the ball, also concentration and passing has to be better, but he has been excellent since joining us, can see him being a big player for us this season.

Was worse than him but wasn't great..

Ineffective. Passing was off although he did play a couple of nice through ball's in the second half..

He's one of those I think you need a Rogic or Roberts in the 10 to play incisive passes in to going forward when we're under pressure and the striker is isolated and dropping deep..

He and Armstrong were equally poor but he has signed for us longer so he stays on.

He'll learn a harsh lesson from tonight.

Big Rabiot and Verrati were a couple of machines.
