    He simply has to play.

Has the class and strength to put on a 'Wanyama vs Barca' type performance.

I'll be surprised if he stays for another season, he's Premiership quality without a doubt. I'm sure a bid will come in at end of season. Wouldn't want to see him leave but that's the reality. He's impressive.

What is 'Premiership quality' and why do folk have such a massive hard on for whatever it is?

If he performs in the Champions League then he's 'Champions League' quality which is a level above the over-hyped and overpaid * served up in England.

I was merely meaning a Premiership side would appreciate his talents. And what sides buy our best players? English sides! I wasn't hyping up the Premiership. So put your anti-Prem hard-on away mate.

Wasn't specific to yourself just in general. And you're right, I do have an anti-Prem hard on. Whatever that is.

Seen an article the other day with Dominic Matteo questioning why no Premiership side bought Scott Brown.

Scott Brown is the captain of a giant Club, winning things consistently and subsequently captaining his country and playing against the best sides in Europe in front of 60000 fans as a result. * the Premiership.

'Premiership class' isn't really a thing. Scott Brown, as an example, has proven himself time and again to be Champions League and International class. Hopefully Ntcham goes on and does the same and then we can cash in on the artificially wealthy smaller clubs in England in a few years time.

I agree with you mate, like I said, I wouldn't want to see him go, but I also said that's reality.

There's not many players who remain loyal to clubs these days. The money talks for most players AND agents.

If Ntcham was Scottish, he could be another Broony - never leaving, playing in front of 60000 etc but he and a lot of foreigners like him want to play Internationals too. Unfortunately, the Scottish Prem rarely gets you International recognition despite how well you play - hence the spotlight that is the English Prem.

ON: “We have to play our game. It’s always good to play against big teams.”

ON: “This is the biggest game of my career. I am very excited to play against PSG.”

ON: “I know the atmosphere tomorrow is going to be unbelievable. I am excited but I always remain calm when I play.”

ON: “It doesn’t matter how much money a player costs because on the pitch we all have two feet and play the same game.

ON: “The atmosphere at Celtic Park is truly unique. It’s absolutely incredible.”

ALTHOUGH Paris Saint-Germain have lavished a fortune on some of the world’s greatest players, Olivier Ntcham insists that these hefty price-tags will mean nothing when he lines up against them on the pitch in tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League Group B opener in Paradise.

PSG broke the world transfer record to bring Neymar to the Parc de Princes from Barcelona in the summer and they followed that up by spending another eye-watering sum on French teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.

They added to an already stellar squad of international talent at the Ligue 1 side which includes the likes of Edinson Cavani, Marco Verratti and Julian Draxler.

But Ntcham is adamant that he and his Hoops team-mates won’t be fazed in the slightest at going head-to-head with these superstars.

He said: “I will be delighted to play against PSG, they have a great group of players and it doesn’t matter how much they have spent as all players are equal. It doesn’t matter how much money you cost as on the pitch everyone has two feet and two hands when we play.

“They are an exceptional bunch of players but we need to exploit the ball well once we get hold of it. Being more aggressive and playing our own game is key towards winning tomorrow."

The 21-year-old, who grew up in the suburbs of Paris, is relishing the prospect of going up against the team he grew up supporting.

He said: “I am very excited to play against Paris Saint-Germain because previously I was a supporter of Paris and, for me, to play against them is not a dream but it’s close to it.

“For my friends and family it’s like a dream as everyone would watch them on TV and, although they have spent money, once we are on the pitch, we are all the same and I have to play my game.

Ntcham is also looking forward to sampling the atmosphere of another big European night at Celtic Park but he is confident he won’t get carried away with the emotion of the occasion.

“Anything can happen and I know the atmosphere is going to be unbelievable," said the midfielder. "It’s truly unique in the world and it’s absolutely incredible. I’m excited but I’m always calm when I play.

“I think we have to play our game and even if we win or lose tomorrow, we still have five games to play against big clubs, and it’s always good to play against good teams.”
