Seems like we are actually having a clear out. Good.

 

Long overdue that he should have been moved on, but if true on the value of the fee - thats pretty much what we paid for him.
That tells you how much/little this guys really developed and the influence he has had while here. Not impressed remotely enough or done enough to better himself (or us as a club to help in recent years).

 

As i say when it comes to fees check the accounts when they come out

Not fussed about him leaving, he’s no use here. But why does Lennon always play it down when someones leaving? Like it’s been well known for a long time, Frimpong...Ntcham and you could guarantee if someone came in and bought Turnball tonight he would say “Well it’s something I’ve been aware about for some time now...”

 

For a player that doesn't start it's probably reasonable.

players value goes up and down on team form as well as game time, I’m actually surprised at that number.

 

Fair enough agreement, I would say, especially for someone we now definitely know’s been wanting away for years. He has looked detached and uninterested for a long time now, so any deal offering what we paid for him or above is a no brainer.

The point is selling a player at the optimum time. Clearly not accepting Porto's bid of £13m was a huge mistake.
