I'm sure we left space in the squad for him, so should be eligible.

This is all well and good but I didn't see him answer or get asked the most important quistion,

Is he a supporter of the Irish republican movement and does he know all the words to at least 3 rebel songs?

    Welcome big lad

THERE were some familiar faces for Olivier Ntcham at Celtic’s Lennoxtown Training Centre this week, including his international team-mate at Under-21 level, Moussa Dembele, who had also spoken to his compatriot in glowing terms about life with the Bhoys and the club’s supporters.

Dembele, who is celebrating his 21st birthday today (July 12), enjoyed an impressive first season with the Hoops, scoring 32 goals and helping the club secure the domestic treble, remaining unbeaten throughout the campaign.

And Celtic’s new French signing is delighted to be joining his fellow countryman at the club.

“We spoke together, and we have played together a long time, since we were 15-16 years-old for France,” Olivier explained. “He said Celtic is a good club and there is a great atmosphere from the fans in the stadium, and he also said that when he played in the Champions League it was unbelievable.

“The first thing Moussa spoke to me about was the fans. I am very excited about playing in front of them. For me, it’s always good to have a good relationship with the fans.

“From my time at Manchester City, I also know Scott Sinclair and Dedryck Boyata, and it’s easier when you go somewhere and you know of the players.”

Him and Dembele made their France U16 and U19 debuts together and Ntcham also played when Dembele made his U17 debut and Dembele played when Ntcham made his U20 and u21 debut.

First played together almost 6 years ago and last played together 5 weeks ago.

Given he was born in Longjumeau, which is a southern suberb in Paris, the lack of vowels in the beginning part of the name which is a common trait umongst Parisians, would suggest the nt to be silent meaning you would certainly unquestionably pronounce it Cham. Also if you've made it this far reading this post you've probably clocked onto the fact I haven't got a clue what im talking about. :67:

Glad to see it's been finalised. Quite excited by this one, despite the fact I know next to nothing about him, I'm not sure I've ever seen him play. If I have it was probably for the French U21s. It may even help convince Moussa to stay longer.

Can't wait to see the bhoy in action. Really nice that we recruited another French u21 player, if nothing else but to keep Dembele company, but I'd imagine he has more grandiose ideas!

Can see us winning the trebel again with signings like this.

Good to know, cant see him being involved especially in the first leg but might need him at celtic park if we pick up injuries.
