His vision and passing ability is a class above.

Only going to get better. Even this early on, I reckon' we could get more out of him in the 10 position. Wait and see how he does as a B2B regularly but he seems to have that vision, awareness and the shooting ability of a 10.

I like the sharpness and unpredictability of a lot of his passes. Will be a serious asset against packed defences which we face regularly.

Leigh Griffiths has backed Olivier Ntcham to make a massive impact at Celtic this season.

The striker felt that the former Manchester City midfielder – the Parkhead side’s most expensive addition to the squad in a decade – was Celtic’s best player during the 4-1 win over Hearts on Saturday afternoon.

The official accolade went to Griffiths but the Scotland internationalist is anticipating big things from the Ntcham as the weeks progress and he settles into the club.

“I have never seen a guy so composed on the ball in my life,” said Griffiths. “He is a great addition to the squad. You have seen how well he takes the ball, just on the half-turn almost, and he makes things happen.

“He doesn’t get shrugged off the ball easily either and for me he was actually the man of the match against Hearts. I was happy to take his champagne but I thought he was excellent. As soon as he gets properly settled and match fit I think we’ll all see just what a top player he is.”

All I've noticed is him overhitting long range passes in the last 2 games.

Really not understanding the hype yet with the passing ablity. Ball keeping is exceptional indeed.

He's not the finished article to be fair. He will still over-hit and under-hit passes from time to time.

Personally I thought he picked a lot of good passes and played some terrific ones already over the course of his games here so far.

He's going to be a great player. He's always looking for the defence opening pass rather than the easy pass which is why they won't always come off. Apart from a couple of over hit diagnol passes he's been excellent any time he's been on the field.

Playing within himself a wee bit would like to see a bit further forward.

I reckon when Dembele comes back they will have a great relationship on the pitch.

I have a feeling, like dembele, he'll come into his own when it comes to the big games in Europe when teams play more open

Tries the champagne ball one too many times but comes off 50% of time. I think when he signed, Armstrong may have already agreed a move away. Won't sign a player for 4.5 mil and not play him.

This guy is nothing short of sheer quality.

Has the range of pass that only guys like Scholes and Pirlo had, an exceptional football brain and strong as an ox.

Once he's in full fitness, I honestly think Ntcham will be the missing link for our Champions League efforts - we've always lacked that one player in midfield with the wide range of passing and composure to dictate tempo, instead of side ways and backwards passing, or aimless lumps up the park.

Expect GREAT things from Olivier, what a guy!

I really like him so far but think he will be more suited further forward. Not sure we will see the very best of him in a deeper role, although his passing range will be useful there.
