Don't disagree with that at all..

Maybe we'll see more rotation after the break when we've got a healthy lead (hopefully)..

I think hes an excellent player.

Hes contributed around 9 goals to the team this season (goals and assists) despite being in and out. Has shown a decent attitude too after his comments previously.

Plenty of versatility in our midfield. Which is why players should be able to get a rest more, Brown & McGregor in particular.

I would have no worries having Ollie deputize for Brown and CMac

Freelance journalist Ignazio Genuardi reports that Lille have identified Celtic’s 23-year-old French midfielder Olivier Ntcham as a possible replacement for Boubakary Soumaré, should the latter leave next month, with Manchester United and Tottenham continuing to weigh up a formal offer for the latter player.

LOSC feel that they would likely only move for a central midfielder next month if both Soumaré and Thiago Maia depart, but Sporting Director Luis Campos is one for considerable forward planning.

Lille notably had a scout present during Celtic’s home encounter with Rennes in the Europa League recently.

OLIVIER Ntcham last night stressed he has no intention of leaving Celtic and is fully committed to helping the Parkhead club enjoy further domestic and European success this season.

Ntcham fuelled speculation that he might move back in July when he admitted he was disappointed that interest from Porto didn’t amount to anything and had been flattered to be linked with Marseille.

But the French midfielder, who scored an injury-time winner against Lazio in Rome last month, revealed he is content in Glasgow now and looking forward to the remainder of the season.

Neil Lennon’s side take on Rangers, who they are level on points with at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership, in the Betfred Cup on Sunday and will play in the last 32 of the Europa League next year

Ntcham, who missed the 4-1 win over Ross County in Dingwall on Sunday with an injury, is keen to be a part of the treble treble winners’ forthcoming matches.

“I am focused on Celtic 150 percent,” said Ntcham. “I am focused on working hard every day in training and on the pitch. I am not spending my time looking around.

There was talk about my future, but I am fully concentrated on the present. You never know what happens in football tomorrow, but I want to enjoy my time today.

“It’s a very exciting time at Celtic. There are a lot of games but if we win them it will be even more exciting. We are used to winning but we are still hungry in every single game.

“I am feeling good. I still think I need a few more games to be at my best but I am going in the right direction. I think there is a lot more to come because I’m not quite fully fit just yet, in terms of matches. I am enjoying playing though.”

Soumaré is reportedly valued at £40m to £50m. Lille had better be prepared to offer us a chunk of that fee. :84:

Yea, would start him against Huns, Eddy and Forrest up top with Christie in No 10, no way would they over run our midfield like Cup final.

    Here the whole time
All this clamour to start him today and against the huns, I don't get it.

Who do we leave out? Our best player so far this season - christie? Our technically best midfield player - McGregor? Or our inspirational skipper? Or do we carry on shorhorning better players into positions where they are less effective in the hope that n'tcham decides to put in a performance?

IMO, hes been ok this season. Certainly not as awful as he has been over the course of the previous 2, but by no means a standout and nothing that merits him becoming a starter in front of the other 3.

That’s kind of where I am with him. Good player, but couldn’t drop any of Brown, McGregor or Christie for him and wouldn’t want to start shoe-horning central players out wide to accommodate anyone.

I like him and think he's a cracking player, but that's a fair assessment and canny argue. Spot on.
