Rogic wasn't though, which was the problem, for most of the game they defended on the 18 yard line because Rogic naturally drifted outside the box and Lustig had no options. I am not excusing Lustig, like I said, he did nothing with it, but his options to do something were limited. He put in 3 or 4 crosses and there was no Celtic player within ten yards of the ball, which is why he started passing it inside.

Yeah your actually right now I'm thinking of it but I am picking on lustig a bit. I really see him as a weak link lately, doesn't offer nearly as much as he used to going forward and even defensively weakening. I'm just hoping we beat them Wednesday. Nerves are all over the place. Think we need 3 new signings definite

Honestly I thought it a lot last season. I'm not here to hate on players I just want the team to be as strong as it can be, done well last season but a lot of games thought he was weak n got roasted on the wing. Often messed up a play and tracked back without catching the player numerous times.,, I'm being honest in saying I think it's time to get better

Ma man, I ain't hating on your intentions.

All I'm saying is, calm doon, let's see what happens, especially when we have a guy as our no.1 RB who still has plenty to offer.

Ah I get Ye completely but if we get to the groups that's when we will see the weak points. I want him to run a muck with us but honestly Don't think he's up to it anymore. Just saying its an area to upgrade

Ntcham started brightly and was zipping the ball about at a good pace but was dragged down to a slower and more predictable level of play by the other Celtic midfielders around him. Total lack of creativity on Wednesday night. I dont expect Brown to be playing killer balls because thats not his game but Rogic and particularly Armstrong (who seems think he should be playing in the EPL) were not good enough.

Armstrong should sign the Celtic contract and be * grateful hes playing for a club like Celtic. Hes only shown 6 months of good form and even if he stays he might find himself struggling to get into the starting 11 with Ntcham now at the club.

Lustig weak link, jeez, I thought he was pouring forward at every opportunity and putting in decent balls, as absolute nowt happened on the other flank.

This guy looks decent and it is early days, an improvement on Bitton, not sure about SA though.

Lustig is a weak link mate, The system we play doesn't suit him at all. He doesn't have the pace to get back when beat & he can never beat a man on the wing, that is why he always crosses the ball. They were giving him all the space in the world as they knew he would only cross rather than beat a man.

I have this feeling about him being rushed a bit into first XI.

He's quality, we all saw that already, but he needs some time to adjust to our system and to his new teammates, which is all normal. I would rather see him play for half an hour in the beginning, until he adapts more. Honestly, at this moment, I'm more content with us going with Brown-Armstrong-Rogić through these important qualifying matches.

This boy operates half a second quicker than anyone else in the squad, looks to be an absolute find!

Don't see him getting the numbers Armstrong did last season, but he adds a different level of composure and vision.

    Player.

Might not get as many goals as Armstrong but he looks much more comfortable on the ball.

Thought he was class today. Ran the show with McGregor.

Still looks like he lacks some match sharpness compared to others, but * me his passing and vision is different gravy.

Picks his passes really early. Crisp and accuarate with them too. I think we'll really see the benefit of this guy in Europe

Thought he was excellent. Tired towards the end but for 60 odd minutes he was running the show.

I said in the match thread that some players just have that way about them, the way they carry themselves you can tell right away they are going to be a player.

    His passing is top drawer..

It's noticeable he's clearly still not 100% as he was excellent with his range and ticking us over first half but again faded in the second..

Can see already what a player he'll be once he's fit and settled..
