Every time I see this thread bumped I'm hoping to see a club bidding 10+ million for him.

I'm starting to worry we only budget 10m this season for players plus certain % of player sales.

And things have slowed coming in because we haven't shifted a big fee by now as maybe expected.

    I hope I'm wrong.

And in ref to Ntcham, my concern is his fee if he goes this window will be less than we expected 6 weeks ago

Probably spent a wee bit time in Lennys office.

Then time speaking to his teammates.

I'd love to see him turn his Celtic career around. Now he knows he has something to prove. We all know he's talented and what he's done is not even 10% as bad as what Boyata did.

The Celtic gaffer said: "He was disappointed with the way it came across, that wasn't his intention.

"We have had a nice chat - a private chat - and it's not an issue now.

“He is back in the group and training and getting ready for the new season."

Anyone else think Lenny might drum into ntchams head that if he gives 100% this season then he will have big offers next year? I wouldn't mind a fully motivated ntcham staying this season. On form he is the best midfielder in the league.

NEIL LENNON has revealed he’s held cleared-the-air talks with Olivier Ntcham following an interview the French midfielder did in his homeland.

The France Under-21 international was quoted as saying he had been disappointed a move to Porto broke down last summer and wanted to test himself at a higher level.

Ntcham returned on Monday following an extended break on the back of international duty and has spoken to Lennon about the situation.

The Celtic gaffer said: “He was disappointed with the way it came across, that wasn’t his intention.

We have had a nice chat – a private chat – and it’s not an issue now.

“He is back in the group and training and getting ready for the new season.”

Ntcham is the subject of interest from Marseille after a failed bid from the Portuguese giants last season.

Speaking to L’Equipe earlier this month, he said: “Celtic have given me a lot, but it’s the best solution for my development.

“We can do as many matches as we want but, with all due respect for my opponents, if the level in front is not high, you do not progress.

“I was disappointed I didn’t go to Porto last summer.”
