    Hadn’t seen or heard anything about it, just looked & can’t see any actual quotes from him or the club, & can only find the story in the * rags.
    Anyone know if it’s a genuine piece?

    It would hardly be a surprise tho, given the game time he’s had.. The Scotsman usually quite reliable Tbf.. don’t think the club would have commented and don’t think BR was asked directly about him.

    If it’s true & that’s a big if, I think it’s very poor, we should either give him some regular minutes in first Team or better still loan him, let him get match sharp, then give him regular first team games see how he goes.
    Read He’s still contracted until 2021.
    Unless he’s got training / lifestyle issues we don’t know about.

    You would have expected Brendan to say something if it’s true, someone would have questioned him.

    There’s obviously some kind of issue given the amount of game time he’s had.. a loan would have worked tho. Looks like a waste of £3m in any case..

    I can see him being here for this season, maybe even Jan if he throws his toys out the park.

    The French lads all seem very close at the club and seeing one of them could spark a clear out.

    Either way I can see ya getting good money for him when he does leave.

    I think his words have been lost in translation a bit as well.

    Hope he has a good game today.
