I don't see him leaving this window even if we fail to qualify, the boyata fiasco has already caused a ruckus and we already need another cm to replace armstrong.

Yeah saw this a few minutes ago myself " In Constant contact with the player " is this then not the equivalent of tapping the player and literally going behind Celtic's back ?

A Portuguese side couldn't/shouldn't be able to afford him, with the time left on his contract and the fact we haven't replaced Armstrong. I hope the board thinks the same way...

Would be absolutely disgusting if he was to be sold in this window.

If he where to be sold the board wouldn’t be hounded out. They would be hung by the necks.

There will be quite a few clubs interested in him, he’s quality, Portuguese and elsewhere no doubt.

No bids have been made yet - yup that certainly seems the case.

If we don’t qualify for the CL, a bid may come in yes, but he won’t leave. He’ll want at least another season here, Europa League games under his belt. I think the saving grace here is having MD and OE both at the club.

It’s a nothing story... “Entourage”? Ok, sure...

They spent already 3 million this window have they sold anyone they would need least ten million to have a say as he is double what he was worth when we first bought him for 4.4 million nothing story

  9. I wouldn’t be surprised if he were sold to cover losses if we fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Already sold Armstrong this window and with Boyata likely to go to 2 players in last year of contract and 1 downed tools , Ntcham would be taking the *.

Rodgers publicly said were in a good position as a club and dont need to sell anyone brought in about 70mill last 2 seasons and cash in bank but reluctant to spend any of it.

Completely avoidable if our stingy board would have invested to qualify

With three years left on his deal , not a chance. Next summer however he will be off , far too good for us to keep long term.

French players are model pro's, Ntcham,Dembele and Edouard axis they know they will get a move eventually if they consistently perform but you wont hear any * from them wanting a move like that boyata *.

Evra and Cantona karate kicking fans, Anelka the incredible sulk. Zidane heidering Materazzi in a World Cup Final. Benzema bribing his team mate over * tapes. Ribery and Benzema up in court for under age prostitution. All very model pro behaviour.

The French amigos have already had their own misdemeanour a matter of weeks ago.

    Cliched crap.

Just a heads up on the Portuguese transfer market/Porto interest of Ntcham, not sure what Ntcham would be sold for, will check Transfermarkt’s valuation for him, and if I recall Celtic, paid around £4.5 million, and I also don’t know what his buyout clause is.

But, the big 3 Portuguese clubs, Sporting, Benfica and Porto regularly buy players in the 10-15 million Euro price point. Sporting recently paid close to 12 million Euros for Bas Dost, almost 11 million for Bruno Fernandes and then another 10 million Euros for Marcos Acuña, 7 million for Doumbia and then another 8 million for Brazilian midfielder Wendel, all within two years. Porto actually paid 15 million Euros to Sporting for Joao Moutinho many years ago and I think Porto paid 10 million Euros for Alex Sandro when they first signed him around the same time as Moutinho, and they paid close to 11 million for Aboubakar a few years ago. Benfica paid 10 Million for Salvio and close to that for Angel DiMaria and that was over ten years ago. The magic number for the top end of buying players for the three big Portuguese clubs is around 12 million Euros per player.

The big Portuguese clubs, while all in debt (like most all clubs, lol) have all recently signed big TV rights contracts with NOS, and they make Champions League money and sell players for pretty good profit, (Sporting paid 300k Euros to an Algerian club for Islam Slimani and then sold him to Leicester City for over 30 million Euros, for example) so they’re able to flex some financial muscle when need be.

So, To keep Ntcham away from Porto, you have to set the price above 20 million Euros because Porto won’t pay that much, they’ll just use their South American scouting network to find young talent to develop and sell if you get into those figures. If it’s below that figure, especially around the 10 million Euro range or less, Porto could very well go for him if they really want him.

  17. Tierney’s Transfermarkt value is €12.5m and was much less until recently; it’s utter nonsense.

If we can afford to knock back bids in the region of €8m for Boyata, we can afford to knock back bids in the region of €10m for Ntcham.

Given what has gone on recently with Boyata, and all the * stirring media that’s followed it - I suspect the vultures will be hovering...

Should we drop out the CL, I suspect a few bids incoming to try and turn some heads. Ntcham being one of them but don’t think he’ll leave, would need to be silly money and decent club.

Tierney should be a stick on for a bid, but I think his well known love for the club keeps him a while longer.

If Dembele hadn’t being showing niggling injury signs again this season, I think a decent bid would have been made already and would be giving BR and the board some decision to make. Again, may depend on CL qualification?

    Boyata will be gone surely?

I’m surprised there’s not been a few bids for Ajer but happy there’s not.

And please, please... Someone take Sinclair from us, anyone, just take him...

Off topic a bit, sorry folks...
