Why, oh, why, oh, why, did we not rest him? I hope that we sell Eboué this window because we are wasting his potential.

We'd say the same if Brrony, Forreat, Eddie, McGregor etc got injured. We cant wrap all our good players in cotton wool incase they get injured

It was an inconsequential league game against Livingston; if there was ever a game in which to rest players, it was today. Eboué should have started.

I agree Kouassi should have played. But I'd have still played Ntcham. Broony is who I'd have rested if anyone

Fair enough, mate. The squad is there to be used. We risked Brown and Ntcham in a low-stakes game, when we had a talented young player on the bench who has shown that he is more than good enough to start Scottish Premiership games. It was utter stupidity.

I completely agree on Kouassi. I think we're wasting him. I'm not even surehe made the bench today

I don't think he should have been rested but he should have been straight off after the incident, even though it would have left us with 10 men. He could barely move the last 5 minutes, it was stupid leaving him on to potentially aggravate it.

Second this. Bad start to any season could be severely consequential, but a bad start against a newly promoted team(who weren’t even champs), definitely would be, imo

Well, it was anything but must win. There was no need for us to start a near full strength side against a side that has gained back-to-back promotions to the Premiership, to the detriment of our European campaign - none.

If our squad players do not have enough to beat the weakest side in the league - by quite some distance - at a packed-out Celtic Park, why are we paying them wages?

It would have been recoverable; a loss to AEK mid-week may not be.

The guy that has won every domestic competition he’s entered since he’s been our manager thought otherwise.

Livingston at home should be the surest three points of the season.
