Don't want or need another striker. Jesus christ.:56:

Only way I'd want him is if he was going to be played in a wider role.

I think we definitely need another striker.

Griffiths is pish, Scepovic obviously isn't fancied and also looks average at best. Stokes is playing out wide now as well.

If Guidetti gets injured we're in trouble.

I don't see the point in bringing another in January, certainly not a priority. We need a genuine playmaker and natural winger before we go near another striker.

Scepovic has started 2 games or so domestically, don't see why people are so quick to write him off.

With a 1 striker formation, it's definitely not a priority. This guy also just looks very fast with some technical ability, I'd rather we look elsewhere rather than bloat the squad even more. Players like him who only really have pace won't always benfit us due to the way teams sit in against us.

I'd be confident in Griffiths, Stokes and Scepovic chipping in if Guidetti was to get injured.

He might not be the priority, it's all just speculation. But if we get a winger and a playmaker, by all means we should also go for another striker.

Well, you're saying it's too early to judge Scepovic yet you've just judged this guy from a couple of Youtube videos.

From what I've seen of Scepovic, he can do some nice flick ons but he can't win a header and his finishing has been atrocious. The fact he can barely get a game doesn't fill me with confidence.

There is a difference though, Scepovic is actually at the club:smiley-laughing002:

He deserves a chance to prove himself, people are judging him on the European games he has started where most of the time he has been left isolated. I disagree that he isn't that great in the air, he won plenty against Astra in the box and caused trouble, that's all you can ask.

Only reason he cannot get a game is down to Guidetti scoring consistently, even though in recent games he has missed his fair share as well.

It's all about confidence. Scepovic scores his first 2 goals, then is dropped and hasn't been in the side since? How is he supposed to settle here like that. We paid £2.5m for him I'd like to think he still has a chance of making it here.

People just always seem so desperate to sign strikers, not thinking that we might actually need to strengthen elsewhere first.

"Oh look, this guy has a cool name, he's black and fast, sign him". It's like what you were saying to me, people watch a 4min video and think he is automatically worth the pop.

I'm just judging Scepovic from whenever he's played. Both domestically and in Europe. I hope he does well, and he actually did play quite well when he was with Guidetti. But when he did play, for the most part, he did nothing that makes me think he can do damage. Obviously he has to get game time but he must not be showing much in training if Deila rarely plays him. I know Guidetti has been banging them in, but I'm sure he would still be giving Scepovic 30 mins every match if he thought he was good enough.

In terms of this guy though, it's worth a shot. Probably won't cost too much, decent scoring record, young, looks very quick which we could be doing with - more pace.

Not really though, if Guidetti is playing well, scoring goals and working all the time he is unlikely to want to take him off too early.

I'd like us to play 2 upfront more often. I've said this * knows how many times now but they would compliment each other brilliantly. Guidetti will work and run all day and do more outside the box, whereas Scepovic is quite clearly a penalty box player with some decent link up, he would look his best if played there in my opinion.

Also, a genuine playmaker behind either one of them (or both) and their intelligent runs which are very evident, would come off alot more.

He looks good but would like to see us strengthen the midfield and wider areas first and foremost and also get some competition for the LB position. Do find it pathetic how any player that steps foot in Israel these days gets labelled a zionist off some of the morons on this forum, grow the * up.

Wiki has him as playing for Club Brugge from 2015, any truth to that or just eager editing?
