Took his goal really well. Hoping it gives him a bit of confidence and he gets more minutes now. Need to stop relying on Kyogo every game.

Would be inclined to start him Saturday because he deserves a start and it keeps kyogo fresh for Tuesday

I've said multiple times in this thread he's a good player but needs game time.

Delighted he got that goal last night. Love the way he ran up to Rodgers after it as well which maybe shows Rodgers has been in his ear a bit maybe telling him to stay calm his chance will come.

    some finish!

He simply needs game time. He's still young and snatches at some things, sometimes makes the wrong decision, but the raw materials of a top striker are there - but he'll never develop into that sitting on the bench.

Needs regular solid game time... unless Kyogo gets murdered he won't get that.

No way does Rodgers go for 2 up top either for a full match.

I like Oh, as if my previous posts in here haven't already made that clear

Wouldn't be the worst idea. His physicality to wear defenders down then tired bodies and minds trying to defend against Kyogo's movement off the bench.

Especially when we actually only have two strikers he won’t go two up top

You're right, but we still should go two up top. If it means beating down a parked bus faster, it is worthwhile.

A "Celtic supporter" called into Clyde this week to have a right go at Oh. A "Celtic supporter" who claimed that without Kyogo we "wouldn't be 4 points, or whatever it is, ahead" of Sevco.

Claimed Oh wasn't "fit to wear the shirt". And that we were in big big trouble when Kyogo eventually breaks down.

All of this AGAINST the statistical FACTS mind.

Lo and behold, resident moron and * talker Spew Keevins agreed with every word, claiming that Oh wasn't "a natural goal scorer" and that Rodgers would be replacing him in January as his first piece of business, and "top priority".

How glorious to watch Oh pump that ball in the net for 3 points, and do it with such a "natural", strikers finish.

Girfuy, ya * moon howling, sister banging, 12 toed tramps.

In order for him to get regular game time, it would require a change in tactics and him playing with Kyogo. Said last night I think this is something we could look at domestically. His record is actually decent considering the limit minutes he has had in a lot of his appearances. I’d be tempted to go with both on Saturday.

TBF I still have doubts if he is a natural goalscorer and as good a finish as that was last night, those still persist.

A striker is definitely near the top of my list too. He does need some more regular game time though.

I agree that playing both sometimes is a good idea, but I don't think that's the only scenario where he gets game time. He should be starting games here and there to rotate, and regularly coming on to give Kyogo a rest, similar to how Giako was used under Ange. Unfortunately so far this season he's only come on here and there, and barely started a single match. I think regular 30 minutes and the odd start here and there is enough for him to develop.

No sure about that mate. Look at Haaland for example at Man City. If he is fit, he plays. Maybe get dropped for a cup game, but that’s it. He will get taken off if games are done perhaps. Now I’m not saying Kyogo is anywhere near the same level as Haaland, but he is every bit as important to us as Haaland is to Man City. You want your best striker playing all the time in my opinion. In fact, you look at the best strikers in all the top teams, I can’t really think of many, if any at all where they get rested in league games. I think we need to look at a way to get both on the park. Not every game of course.

Edit. Absolutely no chance will Kyogo be wanting dropped in games for a rest either in my opinion.

Aye, maybe. We did it well when we had Giako and Kyogo though, I thought. This week for example, three games in one week with an away trip in Europe right after. We need to be rotating across that and letting Oh start one or two would be the perfect way to do that. Last thing we want is Kyogo feeling jaded of worse injured when we go to Atletico on Tuesday.

Same goes for O'Riley and even Calmac. I know it's blasphemy, but they need rest if we want them to do their best against AM.

I get that as well, especially in terms of getting injured. I think though ideally we either start both at the weekend, or Kyogo plays an hour, we try and get the game done and then bring on Oh. I’d be trying to go with the former on Saturday.
