I am still gutted that we lost Giakomakis. I thought he was a brilliant threat either from the start or for coming on and getting a crucial goal to change a game. I was geniunley gutted that we lost him. Big Oh isnt the player that big GG was for us like. Not yet anyway. I guess the big man just couldnt keep Kyogo out the team and he needed to playing every week at his stage in his career. Ive always said we'll regret not trying harder to get him to stay

Ah right in the cup, I missed that. Failed to score in his final 10 league games then.

Struggling to see the benefit of travelling half way around the world to sit on the bench watching a game of football.

Far greater benefit to him being here in January and getting chance to establish himself by starting 4 or 5 games than sitting on the bench doing * all for korea.

Genuinely think he's getting towards that time where he either takes an opportunity here or he's away next summer.

Getting picked or not for Asia cup could determine next steps of his career.

Gets picked, sits on bench playing little game time, we sign another striker in January and Oh's chances are limited and he's likely back to Korea or a lower league come the summer.

Doesn't go, plays here, takes his chance and finally starts to show the potential many think he has and becomes an established member of the squad that Rodgers can trust.

He really needs to start finding the net.

Really feel sorry for this lad, you can see how much he wants it and how much he tries. Unfortunately for him he needs a run of games and he's behind one of Celtics greatest ever finishers in Kyogo.

I think he's trying too hard. Iwata's goal was the perfect example. Both times Iwata was better placed and Oh didn't even notice him and both times he lacked the composure that Iwata then showed. He just needs to have more belief in himself: he's got the talent, I'm sure of it.

Only game time will improve him, it would be great to see him start against bottom 6 teams.
Once he starts scoring there will be no stopping him, would like to see him bulk up a bit as he is a bit fragile.

Plenty he could pick up training with the Korea squad.

Reminds me of Griffiths (bar he’s not a rancid wee nonce) when he was out the side and came back in the way he’s snatching at things. Needs a goal or two to calm himself down.

Although he was on the stretch and it was a very good save he really should have been burying that chance.

I like him and he definitely brings another style to the table however the issue he, Giakoumakis and any other striker we bring in will have is Kyogo is just too good. Kyogo could do a turn out wide or just off another striker but it’s a total waste I feel, whilst he’s here and fit the likelihood of another striker getting a proper run in the side is slim at best.

The effort is there 100% but he isn’t a natural striker imo.

I think his link up play and work outside the box is excellent. If he can develop that killer instinct in front of goal he'll be a cracking player.

You would imagine he will be in South Korea's Asian Cup Finals squad. But I really hope he isn't as he would greatly benefit I think from getting some starts while Kyogo's away with Japan.

He needs games. He mite get them here in January, he won't with Korea based on last 4 games they've played.

He was a great save away from scoring yesterday. Gets into good positions, and is literally game time away from being properly judged.

I agree he needs game time, but I'm just saying going away with Korea isn't totally useless. Though it is better for us if he's back here and available for us.

Really pleased for him to be our back-up striker, but I doubt that's a role he'll be pleased with in the long-term.
