Oh is far more aggressive. Can hold up the ball better. Drift out wide. Good passer. His finishing might not be the best yet but he gets his head stuck in and not afraid to do it.

Personally think we traded up with oh who still has levels to go up while we made a good profit on selling giak...who I really liked also

Kyogo had a shocking run of form for several months and GG could have and should have had more game time during that period. Everyone in here was arguing for it, it was only the manager that didn't seem to think it was necessary.

I disagree that Kyogo was miles better than GG. A better technical player absolutely, but limited physically. We've all seen games where he's been stopped entirely by the hammerthrower tactics of big centre-halves when they double-up on him. We also had tough games in the CL where we couldn't progress through the midfield and give Kyogo the service he needed. It is in these contexts where a talented target man becomes more useful, that's something we all recognised at the time. Plenty of people wanted Kyogo dropped for GG in certain games where we knew he was a poor fit for what we were up against.

There's absolutely space in the team for two good forwards who fulfil different roles. There's enough variety in the challenges we face to rotate between two centre forwards who are encouraged to compete for number 1. The idea that we can and should only have one good forward who has no real competition for his spot is baffling. In my view, it's just revisionism because people can't admit we made a mistake in letting the big Greek * go.

Hopefully he gets a good solid run out in the second half.

12 mins between the 2 of them over 2 games. What a * waste of time taking the 2 of them. German *!!

Kyogo was and is miles better than GG. You can disagree all you want but you're wrong. He's a level above him. GG also had plenty of games where he was anonymous. It happens.

Rotating strikers when one is banging in almost a goal a game is crazy. For all the talk of a GG type player suiting games against hammer throwers or when we're away against a stodgy team, Kyogo has scored away at Livi, away at Killie, Ibrox, Hearts etc. He does it against every team he plays.

On my part anyway, it's certainly not revisionism. I never rated him anywhere near as highly as some others. He was a bang average footballer who had a pretty good record. But his all round game left a lot to be desired. Whereas Kyogo will get more goals and is just a much better football player.

Im not near as convinced. He cant bully defenders and isnt the handful that GG was. I think he is more mobile, but he needs to start putting a few performances together as so far i dont think he has established himself.

Although he is only back from a spell out, I thought that chance he screwed up at Ibrox was criminal. He needs to show more composure and quality in and around the box for me.

TBF any time our strikers try bullying the defenders they just get a foul ruled against them.

Yeah I thought he looked a yard off it and probably a couple of kegs overweight against the huns. Needs time to get back up to speed.

Building them into the team young, it's what every international manager should be doing.

We ran Kyogo into the ground in Ange's first season and he did a hammy. Not in favour of rotating every game, but maybe every 4th game or so, when it's a fixture that would suit Oh.

Thought he did ok when he came on , wouldnt mind seeing him up front in Europe with Kyogo just off him ! Think we need more physicality upfront in europe !

Definitely need to find a place for him in the team, he's not getting nearly enough minutes. Can hold the ball up well but also has a good touch in tight spaces. We're wasting a big talent here I think.

I'd like to see him off the left in Europe in the Samaras role for long balls. Good in the air, good work rate, can run with a ball and a decent goalscorer.

I also think he is playing well off the bench and getting well involved and working hard, he's choking to start and is unlikely to shift Kyogo.

442, Kyogo and Oh up Front, once the opposition defenses start to get tired we bring on Maeda for a knock out punch
