Was surprised he didn't get a run out today. Especially given how well I thought he played in that last friendly in midweek against Bilbao.

Don’t know why he kept Meada on as the striker if I’m honest.

Oh should have got minutes yesterday.

I could be wrong coz I had a few beers b4 the game but I sit in jock stein stand and subs warm up just in front of me and I don't remember him coming out to warm up in 2nd half with the other subs.
Like I say I mite just not have noticed him but maybe he picked up a knock at half time when out on the pitch

    Sounds the most likely scenario.

I think he probably just wants to see what Maeda looks like through the middle, probably only ever seen Maeda at the World Cup playing for Japan and wondering how he never played there for us.

Oh has only played as a striker for us so we know what he does.

He might use Maeda as a striker in some European games.

You know what mate I think you're right. I sit near front in line with penalty box and when out at half time I'm sure I seen him clutching at his leg a couple of times and wasn't quite as all out with his warm up. For reference when they do the running part he usually sprints ahead of everyone.

He stayed out there so figured he must have been fine but would defo make sense now I think about it.

I can't remember either actually, he definitely did in the first half as I remember noticing that he is taller than Yang and yet Yang's shoulders were taller than Oh's, he's got some size of neck and head :56:

Think he seen enough during the pre season when he used him as a striker for me.

Oh should have had minutes for me.

Pre-season is essentially just excercise and training though. Without real tackling, need to win and 100% effort it's not real football.

It’s absolutely real football. Pre season is essential to get match fitness, effort making an impact to get noticed to start.

Rodgers has even came out and said about why the team
Lined up how it did due to pre season.

Oh could have got minutes yesterday after his last performance

He needs game time, Maeda will be no use up top domestically.

Disappointed he never got on yesterday, did see him clutching his leg and stretching it out quite a bit when they were on the pitch at HT so maybe just related to that.

Actually wanna see him and Kyogo together now I've had a glimpse of the last 2 games and how both of them have taken turns dropping deep and laying people in..

    I think they'd dovetail brilliantly..

People forget he was initially a winger like Kyogo so both do have that flexibility..

Under the new manager I can see loads of wee different changes happening. Remember the likes of Armstrong playing wing back at home to Inverness and having a stormer..

I don't think there's any major conspiracy why Oh didn't get on yesterday.

Maeda was excellent at ST during pre-season, so Rodgers probably wanted to test it in an actual match.

I fully expect Oh to get gametime against the sheep.

That might explain it. If he felt any kind of muscle tightness there was no sense in risking him yesterday. Either way was a bit disappointed to not see him play at all yesterday.

    Aye he was definetly t
Aye he was definitely out 1st half and on the pitch at half time.
Thinking he wasn't out 2nd half bcoz he always does a crazy forward roll into a hamstring stretch when he's warming up in 2nd half. Hard to explain it but if uv ever seen it you'll know what I mean, always gives me a laugh when I see him do it.
