Spraying the ball about as if he was Xavi in disguise.

See being allowed to roam about and come off the centre seemed to suit him, he gave us an out ball. I would actually like to see if him and Kyogo are on at the same time Kyogo leading the line and Oh being the one playing deeper.

    Great assist too.

The way he linked the midfield and front 3 second half completely changed the game. First half we felt disjointed and there didn't seem to be any connection going forward, but second half with that midfield three and Oh dropping deep they couldn't handle our interplay.

Could be that Oh ends up being the preferred option in Europe.

Kyogo dropped deep quite a lot on Saturday 2 and maeda and abada went in behind.

Seems to be a tweak Rodgers had made to the front line and 1 that was maybe necessary after losing the individual brilliance of Jota.

Think both Oh and Kyogo will do well in that role.

Was far too many games last season where sky sports were highlighting Kyogo only having 4 touches in 45 mins etc. Fair does he had usually scored twice but at times u wanted to see such a talented player more involved in our build up play.

His link up play, vision and sheer determination showed how much of a good player he is.

You know he gets the club, the passion and running through a brick wall for us.

    Fantastic 45 minutes fae him.

True. Seemed to be their new favourite stat to obsess over.

I do think Kyogo is far too talented tho to only be getting 3 or 4 touches per half but again it's hard to argue if 2 of those 4 touches are goals

Him bring more involved in build up will hopefully help break down the usual 10 men behind the ball * we need to put up with on a weekly basis

Big oh certainly looked like he has the ability to drop deeper last nite too

Would love to see us experiment with that over the season. Rodgers has previous for two up top and it's getting to the point where I feel we can't leave Oh out.

Oh was excellent last night. Only problem is he plays the same position as Kyogo. Maybe Rodgers will find a way to fit them both in the starting 11.

A 4-5-1 that is essentially turns into a 4-4-2 when attacking with Oh playing a deeper role and Kyogo running off last defender?

Thing is then? Who doesn't get game time to accommodate that? Would 5 subs at least help with that and keeping certain players still?

A 4-2-4 is easily doable if Taylor inverts. Maeda/Bernabei left, Abada/Yang right. McGregor and someone else in the centre, probably O'Riley.

    A 3-4-1-2 lets Turnbull play.

Didn’t think he had that in his locker in terms of spraying the ball about and his vision … Really impressed

So Hatate completely misses out? No chance. Our central midfield would be overrun, even by the poorer outfits in the league.

Great for game of Fifa, horrible in real life.

Much like the idea of Dembele and Eddie, would have been fantastic to see it happen on regular basis but I don't know if the modern style of the game really allows for it at the higher end of spectrum of a solid performing 11 man team.

I'd love to see them in a front two. Ange (I believe) never tried that but is it the sort of thing Rodgers could go for? Even if just changing a game?
