The boy has a lot to prove and big shoes to fill. GG was a far better option at this point but I understand his age, just getting accustomed to his environment and all that but we need more.

He either looks very good or goes completely awol...no inbetween.

Was the latter yesterday unfortunately but im still very optimistic about this guy. Hopefully it will click for him sooner rather than later.

Don't think it's fair that he's become a whipping boy for this result.

It's clear he was following instructions, and tactically, Ange got it wrong. Oh had literally ZERO service, and role he was told to play wasnt a fit for what was transpiring on the field.

I'm more concerned with our midfield getting bitched by bargain box Beckham. McGregor, Hatate, O Reilly, all made that * chump look like * Modric. Cal squeezed out of the game, Hatate an empty shirt, and OReilly sauntering about like he was in the * matrix.

But AGAIN, the real fault lies with Ange imo.

These games are won and lost over who controls the mid, and Ange handed it to them on a * platter.

So on that respect, yes, we weren't at the races, NOBODY gets pass marks, but very unfair to blot anybody's copy book.

Feel * for him that the times he gets most minutes are games when the team is either massively changed or part of a disjointed and mentally checked out performance. Would love for him to get more than a cameo in a fully firing team.

Too many not wanting to admit this.

He got it wrong. Unfair to judge players on this kind of game given nobody was up to it. If that was McGregor's first or second game for Celtic folk would be calling for him no to play again

It is frustrating as * because I feel like you can see the eagerness of him wanting to stake a claim for the starting 11.

But with such fine margins with his case literally being centimetres, that miss just seemed like it took out of the game and his head went. Whereas we'd all have been confident that if we had got such a quick equaliser we'd likely have won the game as the huns change tact and just go 13 men behind the ball.

Again, I'm happy with what im seeing from him and is showing more for me, than Giakoumakis was when he first started out.

First time I've seen Ange come out after a game and openly criticise a player. One thing Ange won't tolerate is a player not trying and that's pretty much what he has said he saw from Oh today after he missed that sitter. That he put his head down after that and didn't try for the rest of the game. Think a new striker will be on Ange's shopping list in the summer. Not that he will punt Oh but that he's seen that he isn't ready yet and we need better cover Kyogo until he is ready. He will give him a chance in pre season to prove he can learn from today.

We needed someone to take a yellow card and put cuntwell up in the air to show he's in a game but we let him run about and tackle our players like he was modric right enough.

If he was following instructions Ange wouldn't have been critical of him after the game, something he only does on the rarest of occasions. He doesn't mind players missing sitters, he minds players missing sitters and then letting that get them down and giving up. As Ange says how many shots does Kyogo try and not pull off in a match? But be just keeps going until he gets one, if he isn't getting service you will see Kyogo get back to help out the midfield, defence or sometimes just go and fetch the ball himself and make his own chance. Oh wasn't the only or even main reason we lost yesterday but when the manager is coming out and highlighting that he saw him down tools thats not for nothing. Ange sees him in training every day too remember. If there is an attitude issue then he is young enough that Ange can drill it out of him during pre season.

Ange fielded arguably our strongest midfield, the mistakes he made were down out left side benching Maeda and Taylor which is what put our midfield under pressure. If we have Maeda who is stronger defensively than Jota we can get away with not having Taylor and vice versa but to not play either was a massive tactical mistake.

But it was a dead rubber and Taylor in particular has picked up injuries in previous derbys so maybe he just wasn't willing to risk them before the cup final which is more important than yesterdays game.

We had someone like that but unfortunately he wanted more first team football and was sold. Need another big Jackie type player this summer and Oh can be our third choice.

Bug Jackie was utterly * for his first 6 month spell. Oh is young, strong and has the potential to be better. Does he have the mentality for it? Don't know. However we have a few meaningless games with decent opposition for him to improve and gain confidence. Dont write him off yet.

Big Jackie never had a pre season, was injured for most of his first 6 months, I think people are forgetting that.

I’m not writing the lad off, I just don’t think he’s ready to come in and fill for Kyogo.

Just to add would you be happy if Kyogo got injured for a long period and Oh was his only replacement. I personally wouldn’t.

We need another forward this summer, I wanted another in Jan as well even when Oh came.

Yeah it's not he will never have what it takes, it's he's not ready yet and we need someone who is ready if we want to compete domestically and in Europe.

What strikers are available in our price range who will buy into the "we never stop" mentality? Brandon Thomas Asante impressed me at WBA and they are desperate for money but not convinced he is an out and out striker.

Thats my point mate, he’s not ready just yet. He could be in a couple of years but having such a prolific forward like Kyogo we need a ready made replacement who will score goals to come in right away, which we had in big Jackie.

Aye he wanted to move for more first team football and you can understand that to be fair.

Bit having an option like him to come in for me is crucial.

I’m sure Ange and his team have been scouting players and will have a few targets lined up.

Just to add, it’s a shame young Dawson got injured in the B team cause I would have liked to see him get some first team minutes cause I think he is one to watch.

Oh will learn from yesterday, a lot more than he would have sitting on the bench. We definitely need a third striker though.

Without reopening old wounds, I think yesterday showed we made two massive mistakes in letting Giakoumakis and Jenz go.

Is anybody really happy with Oh and Kobayashi as their replacements, straight up ?.

Jenz had some howling games too, Kobayashi has a full pre season to bed in and a run of low stakes games to adjust.

GG is a loss and hasn't been adequately replaced but he also wasn't scoring much in his last couple of months with us and keeping an unhappy player in a squad would have a far more determental effect than letting him go. If Kyogo hadn't kept himself fit that might be a different conversation but he did and as a result we haven't missed GG and now have summer to either get Oh up to speed and drill Ange philosophy into him or bring in someone else.

Has big potential but would worry having him as second choice striker next season, not there yet
