Truth is he was a big handful who made a decent impact with the limited opportunities he had here

Also to remember, he scored 12 goals in all comps last season in only 868 minutes or a goal every 72 mins. That's an impressive record for any striker

Mate come on, he got plenty of opportunities. He featured in every single league game in Rodgers’ first season, until Idah arrived. There’s a reason we were happy to ship him out. 47 appearances for us and I can only remember a couple of good moments. He wasn’t anywhere near good enough for us. Even now I still wouldn’t want him back for free.

 

For us, 12 goals in 1317 mins or a goal every 110 minutes. He was not a bad player at all.

Thats crazy money for a striker who has a far from impressive goal scoring record. 14 goals in 47 games for Genk which is only 2 more goals then he managed with us in the same number of games.

 

14 goals in 1339 minutes - in 47 appearances hes roughly playing 29 as an average per appearance.

12 goals for us in 1317 minutes - in 47 appearances he was roughly playing 28 minutes per appearance.

His ability to score in the very little game time hes getting is moving with him, at least for now, will be interesting to see his game time at Stuttgart. The price for his move.is perhaps a little odd to put it mildly. But in him is a talent that knows where the goal is and at an age now where this move is the sliding doors moment on whether he breaks out or not.
