  1. You watched dead rising yet vinnie?

I have it downloaded just not got round to watching yet.

  2. Not yet, as I wasn't aware it was out yet. Thanks for the heads up :50: Downloading it as we speak.

  3. No probs bud :50:

I was going to watch it on release on Friday, Until I went to put crackle on and found out its no longer active in the UK :54:

  4. Dead Rising: Wasn't special, but not too bad either tbh. Expected a bit more crazy DIY weapons though. Liked the character Frank West. :50: 6/10

  5. Watched Nightmare City for the first time in 20 (?) years. Movie doesn't hold up in modern times. Remembered it to be much better. Shame, as I was really looking forward to it.

Edit: There's going to be another film shot with the same name by Master of gore Tom Savini. Wonder if it's a remake though.

ffs! that's twice a movie featuring Ron Jeremy. :smiley-laughing002:

  7. Watched Cooties with Frodo as one of the main characters before the game. Not as fun as expected, but was alright though. 5.5/10

  8. see if you can get the second episode of z nation second series .... the pole dancing an lap dancing female zombies are a hoot .:smiley-laughing002:

  9. How come we can't have 2 topics on a player, but we can have two on the Govan mob??? :p

  10. I might give that series another try. Probably is even more * the second time. :smiley-laughing002:

  11. Cause we're obsessed. :50:

  12. Downloaded the "game" Zombie Exodus yesterday from steam.
Have to use the term game lightly here as it's more like an interactive novel.

No graphics, no sound effects, just words....750.000 words is being claimed by the "Z.E" page on steam.

Pretty decent this far and all your choices will effect the direction the story is going. Might have to play this two or three times to see if that's realy the case, but it's been interesting this far. (Not too far into it yet tbh.)

For 6 euro's I thought it was a good price as most normal zombie e-books I purchased from "permuted press" are at the same price. Looks like it's available as an app for smart phone owners too.

  13. Went to see this one today. Didn't even know it was being screened in my local cinema and came in on the last day. Better than expected and pretty funny at times.

    7/10

  14. Best modern zombie films outwith zombieland, 28 days/weeks later, dead snow, shaun of the dead ?

What's that one you watched Vinnie ? Image isn't showing for me.

The pic I posted was Scouts guide to the zombie apocalypse.

Best modern ones? Hard one. I love me some indie movies as well, but here are some better well known ones. Might not be technically be all zombie movies but pretty close to the genre.

(Any zombie movie with a rating on imdb of 5 and higher are usually pretty good imo. :smiley-laughing002:)

    Rammbock (German) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1583356/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
    The Crazies (remake) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455407/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Juan of the Dead (Spanish/Cuban movie) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1838571/
Pontypool (Not really zombies but fantastic film.) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1226681/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
Stake Land (vampire movie that pretty * close to a zombie movie and one of my favourite horror flicks of the last few years.) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1464580/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
    La Horde (French) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1183276/?ref_=nv_sr_1
    Dance of the Dead http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0926063/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
The Dead (Very slow, but outstanding) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1386925/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
New Kids Nitro (Dutch, but probably hard to find with subtitles) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2043932/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

  16. Amazing to think that the superb 1978 Dawn Of The Dead is still the greatest Zombie film ever,it raised the bar forever, and no Zombie Film has reached that very bar.

  17. Still my favourite zombie flick ever. Night of the Living Dead doesn't even come close.

  18. Totally agree, the best by a mile
