But why was that CM pairing played, I could tell as soon as I saw the team that Robson and Brown were going to struggle together, my initial thought was why we dropped Crosas, he was the type of player we needed tonight for cutting passes. And why play Maloney on the wing when we needed natural wide players to cut Aalborg open but Maloney and Nakamura were guilty of cutting in all night. McDonald looked dis-interested, he should of been off earlier, or Samaras should've been taken off for JVOH, you don't want JVOH and Samaras up front for a crucial goal in the last ten minutes.

Normally I'm quite pro-Strachan and think people are having a go unfairly but I've been sickened tonight. And to be 100% honest mate, I really don't want to give them a few weeks, I've given Strachan three years and I don't see much changing in a few weeks.

 

a sane voice You watched the same game as me. Who could be blamed anyway. WGS put a very strong lineup on, all our good players had a fair bit of game time. Thet were played in a normal formation. There is nothing to blame WGS for. We played well but the Danes were incredibly hard to break down inthe 2nd half. We do the very same thing to bigger teams. We sit in depth and get bombarded and try to steal a point or two, Just football.

* where your players thinking? Aalborg got a team with very limited football skills and are a team armed with nothing more then heart! I thought you where used to playing against such teams?

And even if the ref, sended out the wrong player or had some "strange" calls, during the match, it still does´nt change the fact that you drew against the 4th worst team in the danish Prem. atm!

We dominated most of the match trouble is when we had the ball be did * all with it.

And that is my summing up the match in less than 20 words

 

i don't see 0-0 with the mancs and villareal as a plus to tonights game, we simply do not win away from home in the CL.We now have to hope that aalborg take points from Villareal or the Mancs.

we are now looking at least winning our 2 remaining home games against the big 2 and on tonights performance it's gonna be a tough ask.Also we are gonna have try and not get beat away from home

OK then. Who didnt play who should have-MF and attack because the defence was not an issue in a 0-0. How clique. There was an almost new CM and CF pairing playing.

Hartley should have played instead of Brown. But because we spent so much on Brown WGS has to play him to justify the expense.

We can take the 3 points at home against Man U...they are not invincible, and Villarreal....Yes we can!

I truly believe we will see our first win away from home...against Aalborg, and our second......wait till you guys see....we will qualify, I have no doubt.

WGS did nothing really wrong...the only thing we didn't do was score, and that happens in football......get used to it guys!
