Yes but Celtic should be able to take apart anti-footballing teams who perform like that at Celtic park... and we didn't

The Group is all square. We played well, on another night, 3 or 4 of those chances would have gone in and that would not have been offside.

Sometimes I think the fans have an illusion that we are Barcelona or Milan with loads of 100k+ per week players!

Get a grip bhoys and ghirls, the players played very well, passing was excellent. No one had a particularly bad game.

If I was to pick any fault, it would be why was Crosas not on? Also I would have taken Naka off and put Maloney and Aidan on the wings early in the second half.

But other than that, nothing is really lost. Aalborg gave us a game, same as we expect from any team that comes to Celtic Park. They weren't great going forward, but defenced well, so fair * to then for they earned their point....and so did we. That point will be very important later on.

We have the easy teams to come now......BRING 'EM ON!!!

McDonald was dire tonight, and Brown was a bit pishypants tonight too....don't thibnk we can put all the blame on WGS.

 

most of the players played well and we played some nice stuff. It just didnt click 100% and we didnt get the breaks. An almost new CM pairing. An almost new CF pairing. Give this team just a few more weeks and we will see the best football we have had in many years.

I can't think of anything either. Deflatedness has got me. Strachan as well I'd imagine. Seems he's more of a ballon than me anyway.

 

Naka's freekick(s), Samaras alone with the goalie, the penalty... We had a lot of chances, but we didn't take them... The ref was bad, both ways.
0-0 against 10 Danes is disappointing.

The game was poor again-when we draw like this against a * * team, lets be * honest people they are *, when i heard we had them i was pleased but then i thoght i bet we * struggle. We did have a goal wrongly chopped but we should be beating this team, i don't * mind the score but i thoght with aalborg we could get a half decent goal difference. Lets pray we get a win against villareal, how hard will that be be but keep the faith.

so many imposters of footballers on this team its sickening. and yet they wont get dropped.


strachan is the only problem with this team. if he goes.. and we get a decent manager in.. i guarantee you even with this same squad we will do 5x better.

 

Robson needs to stop being so stubborn about penalty kicks and aim for other parts of the goal that isn't the centre. His last 3 penalties have all been straight shots down the middle.

I couldn't listen on the radio and Jim White is a * idiot.

 

You wouldn't say jack * about the performance if Robson delivered the goods, don't start this wgs out, drop him drop that, who we going to replace them with ? think before you type.

 

Brown done nothing wrong for me. He was obviously told to sit back and he's least effective when he plays like that. I'd have taken Robson off at half time, brought Crosas on and let Brown attack them. * I'd even put Brown out wide right, he needs to run at players. Sitting back like that is a waste.

 

* the neagativity? how are we meant to stay positive when we can't win A SINGLE HOME GAME AND WE HAVE JUST DRAWN TO AALBORG at home, that means we have to beat man u at home and villareal at home and at least win 2 games away which ISNT GOING TO HAPPEN

Yes we played well but we needed those 3 points

 

Robson shouldnt be taking penaltys, he constantly smashes them down the centre believeing that the keeper will somehow not read them, * *. Get someone who actually has a bit of technical pinache taking penaltys, might aswell have McManus taking them at the moment.

 

If Robson scored I would have said the same thing. * I even said to myself that he was going to go straight on with that shot.
