Why are people saying VOH and Samaras would have made a difference ? Larsson and Sutton aye they would have gave there all, Voh And Samaras dont think so would have been the same result

 

Robson isn't good enough at Champions League level either, way out of his depth.

His predictable * penalty still annoys me to this day.

 

Hyperbole... again. The only players I'd definitely say this about are our full backs. Brown has shown he can play well beside someone who is calm such as Crosas. We have good... not great players all over the field. Players like Robson, McManus and McDonald are good in SPL but not in Europe. This wouldn't be a bad lineup.

We are so close, don't lose faith. We don't need an overhaul, just a couple of quality players.

I really like the look of that team mate, maybe Maloney for McGeady, simply based on end product.

Awwww no I like Robson........I know he isn't up to that standard but he at least does his best......it's not his fault that it isn't good enough. You have to point a finger at the person who is responsible for the signings or better still the guy who is holding the purse strings

 

I really like him too, which is why it saddens me to say it.

but i think he is a great player in the SPL, but a laughing stock in Europe.

 

People would be surprised how much * supporting players make a good player look ordinary. And there's no point in yelling about Naylor because it's over 2 months till we can replace him. Until then, let it known it's not good enough but support the team as well. I'm not asking everybody to be "Yes Men" for the board but show a little bit more support for the team. There's no point in getting that worked up over our current situation, it's bad for your health anyways.

I think they may have, our only out ball was mcdonald and he's never gonna win high balls pumped into the box.

 

Players like Robson are extremely important for us because they have the grit needed to be top players in the SPL. And he has the work rate to succeed at many positions at the SPL level. So on that note I don't think he's a bad signing, he was actually a good signing. I just don't want to see him starting for us in the CL.

I dont think it matters which striker we fielded up front tonight because the ball was very rarely near McDonald anyway. I dont like this 4-5-1 formation as i just dont think Celtic have a striker with enough Quality to cope with being a lone striker.

 

At the end of the day, we were totally outclased by a better side. venegor and samaras would not have made a difference tonight... i agree with kevy the ball needs to get up front for them to score and we were constantly on the back foot. we simply arent good enuff to compete in europe, our home form keeps us hanging on every years for a bit but this simply wont do. we need to bring in more quality players outside scotland, not just those who come from scottish sides like hibs/hearts. joke.
