The truth is wee have went backwards, under oneil we could have competed in the pl and would have finished in the top 5 , but we would be lucky to finish in the top 12 under wgs and the reason for this is the money in the premiership, wee cant compete with them we get a cool million for winning our league they get aboot £60 million naw bad ahhh

And another thing how does some a the bams that are slating the team not come on and slate them earlier??? how many people expected us to win??? I didn,t i just wanted us to try our best and wee did that, wee do need 2 full backs but i admit, but a think it would have been crazy to play an attacking formation against that team with the players wee have got in our squad???? wee would have got tore apart with there 1 touch passing!!!!

truth is there squad is worth aboot 300 or 400million our is worth est aboot 20 million that is the difference

 

In fairness lads, even Newcastle got an 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.

which says a lot, considering the only team worse than them atm is Tottenham.

 

I think the bottom line is that we just lack quality........pure and simple. As someone said you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Our players were shown up for what they were.......they just didn't measure up at that level. I don't mean any disrespect to them and I'm not going to go into the blame game as it's a bit pointless. I don't think that it was a case of not trying...more like they just couldn't do it. We have a few individuals in the team who if surrounded by good players might actually be better than they are. You only get what you pay for and sometimes (in Gravesons case) not even that.

All in all this was the result that most people would have expected with no Sammy,Crosas or JVOH.

There is no doubt we were playing against one of, if not the best team in the world but I think we let ourselves down.

Naka.I have really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but no more.He is a total passenger.

Robson.Tries hard but lets be honest he is no where near good enough at the top level.

McGeady.One of my favourite players but yet again shows very little when up against a decent full back.

* I could go on all day so I wont even start on Naylor or wilson.


I did expect to lose but to at least put up a fight.We badly need some class in midfield.

The only problem I have is that while the result is mildly acceptable, I feel our team could have performed much better.
