I dunno if this has been covered already but Miller is out of the Hearts game due to a hamstring injury he picked up in Japan.

So that's Maloney, Beattie and Miller out and no Hartson as well all know :)

Maybe Petrov upfront with Magic and Jarosik and Lennon in midfield?

Or will he go for Riordan

well if miller is out .. then yep i would go with the 5 in midfield lennon included .. with magic upfront .. coz we will be a lot stronger then and wont get bossed / hacked tae * in the middle of the park where most games are won and lost ..coz its gonna be physicall against the tarts theyre a big strong team...

    Mcgeady-Jarosik-Lennon-Petrov-Naka.

    Zurawski

    4-5-1.

    here m8 there's the source
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/5245094.stm

GS could start with a 5 man Midfield with------
Naka,Jarosik,Petrov,Lenny,McGeady with Magic up-front on his own?? or will GS use Riordan or even Quinn(Rocco) up front alongside Magic(who's on fire right now!)but this game might be to much for Riordan but if he want to prove himself there is no better place for him than Tynecastle as he could be our match winner,I would go with this team if I was boss

    Boruc
    Telfer,Caldwell,McManus,Wilson
    Naka,Jarosik,Petrov,McGeady
    Magic,Riordan:fear:

But if Strachan goes with the 5-man midfield would this be his team bhoys+ghirls???

    Boruc
    Telfer,Caldwell,McManus,Wilson
    Naka,Jarosik,Petrov,Lenny:97:,McGeady
    Magic

I wonder what team Strachan will play coz if Kenny Miller is injured we are a wee bit streched for cover are we not??Maloney out+Beattie as well that only leaves Riordan+Quinn but lets hope who-ever it is they do the job and show everyone that Celtic are still the BEST!! in the SPL!!!(I hope)

if miller dont make it then /with maloney and balde also out.. my team would be the strongest i can think of ....

    .................................Boruc.................................

    Wilson........Caldwell........McManus........Camara..............

    ................................Lennon...................................
    McGeady........Petrov.................Jarosik.............Naka.....

    .................................Zurawski................................

theres plenty goals in that team even with lone striker zurawski... we have 4 attacking midfielders all with flair who like to get into box and push forward to support magic... and lennon can be the holding midfielder for sunday.as long as we hold our own at defence /no mistakes i think we can win nae bother on sunday.

Aye me too.4-5-1 is handing the initiative to the Jambos from the off.It sends a signal that we are going into the match defensively minded and would settle for the draw not only to them but also to our players and we are well capable of beating this lot no Skacel or Hartley remember, and possibly a new centre half starting.4-4-2 and 2-0 to Hoops

why would that be sending out message of defence .. when we have 4 out of 5 midfielders who all like to get into attacking positions... riordans not ready taking a bit more time to settle imo . id bring him on as a sub on sunday tbh. at some point..4-5-1 is only defensive is you sit back and make it defensive .

Aye true enough but with Bednar & Cesnaukas easy enough to find yourself sitting back, just think Riordan is a better option than Lenny for this one

I just hope the bhoys get a win,Not that bothered if ts a scrappy win as a win is a win.

Looks like it could end up a draw but Craig Gordon has been playing great in Goal for Hearts but so too is Boruc but our back-bone is still weak not like Hearts but they have a lot of different players plkaying one week then the next they change also(Hearts) worried about who Will mark Neil McCann as he could do real damage to us if Down the left-side:eek::eek:If we don't stop him!! We will be in trouble But all in all I'm looking forward to this game as I live 2 miles away and have got myself Tickets Yes get in there!!!!

I read in an article bout Rangers clamping down on Sectarianism that Celtic fans will be watched at Tynecastle on Sunday and will be under Scrutiny, So if your going to Tynecastle try and have the clubs interests at heart and lets not get us tarnished with the same brush as 'them'

Just thought i'd let you know

i would also not play lennon in this match, he was once a vital player in the celtic side, but in past seasons any pace that he ever had has gone, and he struggles to keep with the other players. GS should pick the same winning side as last weeks match against killie, 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'. the midfield 4 of naka, mcgeady, petrov and jarosik are exciting and the supporters would rather see them play than lennon, and also they give the team something coming forward that lennon couldn't. i think his time is up at the club.

Miller is doubtful with a hamstring injury so it looks like it is written in the stars for Riordian to get it right up the Jambos once again.

    The team I expect is:

    Boruc

    Telfer Caldwell McManus Wilson

    Naka Petrov Jarosik McGeady

    Zurawski Riordian

Personally I can see GS playing Lennon in this game. Nakamura will get pushed off the ball too easily against a physical Hearts side and wont be as effective as he usually is. The best I'd imagine we'll see from him will be from set pieces.
