I heard they expect the stadium to only be two-thirds full.

Said in the paper this morning that there have been less than 40,000 tickets sold. Recession is biting hard.

There prices are ridiculous. £32 for a Europa league game is not good value.
Celtic only have themselves to blame for poor attendances.

Don’t think the recession has anything to do with it, if it was a CL game against a top side then they stadium would be gd, it’s just the prices of the tickets that are ridiculous (says me who bought the package lol) as Scottishghirl said, £32 is not gd value for money but then either are normal SPL games at £25!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

The recession has nothing to do with it?! :97:

Before the recession began, tickets for the UEFA cup were between £30-£40 and there were a lot less people complaining about it then. I think the recession has a lot to do with people not forking out as much money on going to games.

any info on fox what illness he picked up? a thought just crossed my mind, as somebody said above...we usually put on a good performance when we are ment to be underdogs at a game. i think that´s true as we really have a habbit of rising up to the challenge. but i still think they´ll get a goal, so i´ll stick with my 2:1.
does any1 think fortune will be on the bench and might get a few mins tonight???

Correct given the standard of the league now. Its pretty shocking.

Take for example to go to a newcastle united home game in the championship its £20

And lets be honest the standard in the championship is better than the SPL

Andreas Hinkel and Landry N'Guemo return to the Celtic squad after missing the weekend draw with Motherwell. But Danny Fox is still absent due to illness.
Long-term crock Marco Antoine Fortune will be in the squad for the game at Hamilton on Sunday but will play no part in tonight's match.

I would take any sort of celtic win the night. Get a bit of confidence back into the team. Europe imo this season is not that important, will still go the night :celt_2: but its the SPL thats the main thing and the 2 domestic cups :50:
Cmon the hoops beat HSV.

I hope the defence don't gift Hamburg with an early goal, if we score first I think Celtic will win tonight 3-1,c'mon the Hoops !!! :34:
