[Cross Platform] Official Battlefield 4 thread.

You shouldn't be getting kicked mate, they're official servers, its the servers they're *. Played six games of Conquest on monday and only managed to finish 2 of them, two of the ones that crashed I actually had a positive kill/death score :smiley-laughing002:
Its gotten worse again since the latest update at the weekend and the one shot bug is worse than ever.

 

Pinstripe I just read that you had grand children, they must * love you playing computer games

Was just doing ridiculously well on a game of Conquest and got disconnected again.

 

Anybody got any suggestions for how I can stop getting disconnected from games? So annoying now. Getting more and more frequent as well.

 

Isn't it a problem with the game not you i heard that the servers were * on consoles

 

I knew they were having server problems and occasionally everybody is pumped out of the game, but a lot of times if i'm playing with odonno I get kicked and he doesn't so i'm starting to think there may also be a problem at my end?

 

I've had a look around the BF forums, loads of people still having problems mate, try this....only choose to play on European servers and have you installed the latest update, you have to go into Xbox games marketplace to install it "multiplayer update 3", you can also try clearing your cache.
I disabled the Yank and Aussie servers and for the first time in about a week I managed to play 4 games in a row without it freezing.

 

I'd say the PC would be the best platform, although I'm getting a PS4 very soon, I would'nt want to play this with analogue sticks. Besides, most of the issues on PC have been sorted out now.

I rarely get any disconnects and no freezing or CTD's.

It seems the consoles are suffering the majority of issues, for now at least.

What GPU are you getting?

I was doing fine (if you exclude lag spikes and poor hit detection) on PC until the latest update, now I can't play more than 5 mins before it crashes.
When they fix it for some it breaks it for others.
Mess of a game. Haven't even tried for about 2 weeks now.

 

Think I will leave it until January then. Too many games to play anyway. :smiley-laughing002:

Welcome....I have been playing battlefield since 2001 when battlefield 1942 came out....best fps by a mile...amazing game..gfx are stunning...pc is getting many fixes as it was released in a state. ..its getting there now though. ..-)

 

Always been a cod player not so much that i think its a good to be honest just most of my mates had it the last 3 or 4 have been * . Got an xbox one so got this been ravin about it all week haha
