I know the financial results inside out. Yes quality players, no doubt but Tmyo, Sidwell and McCathey are paper fillers, utter rumours, just to sell their papers, dont be sucked in so easily. There are better options than them out there and the scouts have already identified them but the media arent aware of it

I have a weird feeling that Boruc could be the man who saves us in Milan!

Snow was celtics best player..i think thats the best ive ever seen him play for celtic. I think we needed to win today i cant see us scoring in milan unless we can defend and win it on penaltys.

This is how it feels to be Celtic
We were crap, but we got a result that could work in our favour, IF we pull our finger out at the San Siro.

O'Dea was a liability, our whole midfield was outclassed and no service to the strikers. JVOH was screaming at them to get the ball to him, but KM was too quiet for my liking.
    No bite.
Naylor gave the ball away too much.
We never looked a threat really until Gravesen came on.

Round 2 better be better than this.

    I thought we froze tonight...
But hey 0-0 is not a bad result as we didnt concede, but we will definately need to lose that monkey on our back and record a win away from home.
The biggest disappointment for me was our final ball, this season our delivery into the box has been smashing but wilsons crosses were attrocious and naylor surprised me by dithering to much instead of unleashing one of those curling crosses???.

The plus point about the scoreline...we know exactly what we need to do in milan!:celt_2:

right heres my ratings on last nites game...

    boruc -9

immaculate stuff from big arthur again..if only we had him under MON's reign we would have won 5 in a row and a uefa cup 2 boot..the bigger the stage the better arthur becomes

    wilson -6

defensively sound..but his distrubution at times waz shocking 2 say the least..dare i say it telfer actually seems 2 make naka tick more cause he bombs forward more and destracts the opposition fullbacks

    naylor -6

couldn't have picked a worse game 2 have his worst game in the hoops..seemed 2 freeze on the big occasion and never got beyond mcgeady enough ,leaving aiden always 2 on one

    mcmanus -8

great whole heart-hearted performance from mick..hardly put a foot wrong..if his distrubution waz as good as caldwell he would be a world beater

    o'dea -7

some early nerves..got caught out of position a few times but settled as game went on and didnt look out of his depth at all

    naka -6

the occasion seemed 2 get 2 naka..he waz unusually sloppy in possesion at times although wilson didnt help his cause not bombing on enough 2 free space

    lennon -6

ok heres the one were i get called a hun:56: ..i aint sitting on no fence on this one THIS TIME:84: imo waz by far our biggest weak link with miller not in as much as his individual performance last nite as 2 his overall effect on our tempo and our ability 2 start fast attacks..he gives a whole new meaning 2 a holding midfielder..i mean ffs he's so deep at times he's practically a 3rd. centre half..yes he hardly gives the ball away but so what if it slows the whole tempo down 2 italian style pace.. defensive wise his positional sense is sound and got some good tackles in but he is now a liability when in possession trying 2 set up attacks.. look at his opposite holding player for example PIRLO...different class..can mix it up has pace and his range of passing is far more productive.ive never really fancied lennon in a 4-4-2..he waz great under MON in a 3-5-2 but his lack of pace and range of passing at this level are exposed in a 4-4-2 IMO

    sno -8

bit clumbsy in the tackle ...dwells on the ball at times but overall for a 19 year old waz a big plus and done all the running in midfield..let kaka know he waz about early doors

    mcgeady -7

only player who looked a genuine threat on the nite..he waz doubled up on all nite and done well considering naylor had a poor game behind him..distrubution still a little suspect

    jvoh -7

seemed 2 be carrying a knock and looked a yard short..maybe if he waz 100% he would got 2 one of nakas crosses..bad service 2 him wazent his fault

    miller -5

touch waz as bad as u will see at this level..never got a sniff..although just when we waz getting into the game 2nd .half WGS brings on JJ??

    JJ -4

    MUCK:56:

    gravesen -7

    should have started??

overall not a disaster:50: ..with beattie and caldwell hopefully back for the san siro theres always HOPE of us snatching something..

an opportunity missed by us last nite 2 get at milan..

we were given a reality check last nite on just far we have yet 2 go 2 be a force in europe again..

    just my opinion by way..

thought that ref was amazing last night. About time we got one that can pick out a blatant dive!

missed a barn stormer of a night on this thread by the look of it.
thought it was a decent if a bit defensive minded performance against a * good side, lacking in creativity tho.Thought Sno was great a bit nervous at the start but grew into it like a young Paddy Viera i thought.
Agree with bb about Gravesen would have had him on earlier and think Strachan missed the boat on that one.And Miller * poor looked like a cast off from our friends across the river.Bad,bad bad.Was hiding on the pitch. Not 1 good run made.Has to go no amount of spin from Keltoi can cover it up.not good enough.
can somebody tell me what Lenny did when he was subbed.I was hammered so i missed it but one of the non Celtic lads here said he made a gesture or something.
