3 Mins - Kaka bursts through the Celtic midfield. Gravesen makes a sliding tackle and upends him. Free Kick. Pirlo takes it, and it hits the wall. It goes back to the edge of the box. Gilardino whacks it. Comes of the bar and in. 1-0

59 Mins - Gravesen passes to Lennon. Lennon plays it back to Naylor, who starts jogging along the edge of the pitch. He crosses it in from just over the half way line. Kaladze jumps too early, and JVOH has made a fantastic run. Downward header. 1-1.

67 Mins - Corner. Lennon plays it short to Nakamura who skilfully runs past Jankoluvski, and nutmegs Gattuso. He lays it onto JVOH on the edge of the box. The keeper parries it, but McManus gets their first. Tap in! 2-1.

88 Mins - Gattuso slides in on McGeady. McGeady confronts Gattuso, who pushes him back. A lot of people get involved, but Kaka and Nakamura seperate everyone. Gattuso and McGeady get yellow cards.

That's a bit too much like the Man Utd game to be considered realistic.

mon the hoops :50: i think we have got a really great chance of turning ac over as they too have a striker crisis with ronaldo cup tied and boriello suspended:84: and they like us have only one fit out and out striker in oliviera and the fact that they are leaking a good few goals
(3 at the weekend against siena) is another good sign i know they scored 4 but ronaldo got a brace and he isnt playing hee hee :celt_2:
not to mention we havent let in a CL goal at home since we played and drew 1 - 1 with barca and that is a while ago so we should have NOTHING to fear from milan. Yes they are a formidable team when they have their strongest team on the park and they will also be playing for that precious away goal but i think we can and will do them:84:
As voh is on then i think we can give them a hard time but my only concern is our defence as elvis leaves a massive gap at the back and who will fill it?:97: caldwel is training and wants to play but wgs said he wont play him (dont know if thats good or bad):87:

    Anyway
    MON THE HOOPS

    p.s celtic 2 v 0 ac milan

    It's a Grand Old Team
By the way, they may have a striker crisis, but their top scorer is Kaka and he is playing. He is also joint top scorer in the Champions League. Tonight will be tough. But if Scotland can beat a team full of them, we can pump them with our class and quality. All the controversy in Italy will be affecting them no matter what they say. The pressure on them to win or end up with no glories this year is high. It is even unlikely that they will finish in a CL place this year for next years comp. They will all be sweating form the first whistle.

If i was a Celic fan i'd be most worried about marking Kaka, he's gonna be quicker than anybody on the field, you'd better hope Gravesen or Lennon don't lose there cool. It could be over if you go down to 10

I think we'll have the better of the game I really do, especially the first 20. We need to hit them hard and fast, and most of all - take our chances! - I bet we have up to 3 real goes at goal in the first 10 mins.

Thats a very good point mate but the same goes for milans midfield (gattuso in particular) dishing out a bit of punishment to nakamura as he is so quick with the ball at his feet he gets kicked black and blue almost every game so milan should watch that too:50:

Gattuso's sorted out his anger now. He gets booked but he's only been sent off once in 3 seasons.
He tends to knock them down fairly cleanly. He'll play an amazing game tonite, only people for Milan i can't see gettin caught in the atmosphere are Maldini, Pirlo + Gattuso, the rest..well im not sure about.

    Boruc at rightback?
Knowing WGS's CL selections that's probably close to what it'll be.
    What i hope it is:
    Boruc
    Wilson MicK O'DEA Naylor
    Naka Lennon Graveson McGeady
    JVoH Beattie

What I fear it'll be is:
    Boruc
    Wilson Mick O'Dea Naylor
    Graveson Jarosik Lennon McGeady
    Naka
    JVoH

Please don't put Graveson out on the right wing Gordon, please!

CELTIC, MCMANUS: 'We’re confident in our own ability'

    2/20/2007

Celtic defender Stephen McManus had this say to say ahead of the game against Milan: 'They have a lot of world-class players and seeing too much of what they can do might not be a good thing for us. However, we’re really looking forward to it. We know it’s going to be a hard task but we’re confident in our own ability.'
