i'm really buzzing about this, i had a feeling we were gonna get Lyon, i wanted Arsenal because we've never played them in a competitive match, but we can hump them in the next round.

yeah man I know what you mean, thats not what I was getting at though. Im really happy with Milan, its just I wanted the home leg to be second. So that if we get beat over there (given our away record, we hav to budget for that) then we know exactly what we have to do and home, and just go for it.

But after giving it some thought I suppose having the away leg 2nd has its benefits - a wee cheeky away goal can turn the tie on its head, and once we're over there they cant score any more of them!

How do the dates work with Inter and AC sharing?is it like last year where somebody would play a week later than all the other CL teams

 

id assume so mate, cos they cant really just say "you lot play away while we play at home" or of course one could play tues and the other wed.

Apparently UEFA are announcing all dates at 12.45

 

if celtic cannot get at least a 2-0 win at home then i unfortunetly believe its all but over in the san siro, wud have perfered an english team or german. i would like to say, you never know but really are away record is astonishin and if we cant end it in copenhagen then i doubt it will end in the san siro. so lets make the greatest partizan atmosphere in the 1st leg.

 

Dont think it matters mate cos we are at home the 1st leg and i think Inter are at home 1st leg too so when we are playing over there then inter will be playing away too so it should be ok (i think)

Decent draw i think. We avoided all the clubs that are really good at the moment. (Lyon, Chelsea, Barca).

It will be tough but i think if we get a bit of luck we can do it.

yeah but its not really the qaulity of the team, its psychological, we have a monkey oh our back- i duno how we can get it off, its been so long. lille would prob pump us in france.

 

christ just think, if we beat copenhagen tat nite we wud b facin lille and wud be hot favourites, o well im just happy we're in the last 16.

 

should be tough we need a few quality players in though but 'impossible is nothing'

 

AC Milan arent as good as seasons gone by but some people's analysis is plain daft.

Lille only beat AC Milan after Milan were qualified and 1st.

Milan on their day can the be the best in Europe/World but this season there are question marks around consistency. If and it's a HUGE if they aren't on form in February when we play them, we have an outside chance.

As with everyone in the Knockout Stage, home teams will have to win and not concede and away teams will have have to kill the game and try and sneak an away goal.

Conceding will be our biggest problem and defensively we can be taken after our full backs commit forward. Milan have the players to take full advantage when that happens and it will happen.

We'll need every bit of luck to beat these guys.
