Offical Football Manager 2007 Thread

I got to the Premiership with Brentford. (I picked a random team). I'm near the relegation zone now though. I have McGeady, Wilson, McFadden, Mexes, and Figo with me.

 

I took Chester from the Conference to the champions league final in about 8 seasons. The game is pretty unrealistic.

That was 2005/06.

Don't think I'd manage 8 seasons before slashing my wrists now though, I tend to start a game sign a good team then get bored.

I probably wouldn't if I could get a working crack for the 7.0.1 patch.

Danny Szetela - Improves quickly and can play pretty much anywhere, no need for a permit cause he's half Polish



Didier Digard - Turns into a class defender, bought him for 35k and big name teams will try to buy him for 6mil+ a few years on!

 

Nicolás Millán. He's 14 at the start but becomes a massive talent.

If you want a player that will surpass Larsson record, buy Falcao whatever it costs, he's unreal

Yeah I always buy Millan, I also buy the two other Chilians Sebastian Zuniga and Matias Fernandez, I've been trying to sign Falcao but River wants 10 mil plus

I got it from this huge graphic update which adds most players images and changes pretty much everything.

If he's €30M, pay it. Seriously

In a previous game I bought him for €25M, he nearly equalled Larsson Celtic record in less than 5 seasons, im not messing he was 24 in that game when I got him, one season he had something like 50 goals in all competitions from 48 apps, something mad, ill load it up later and check.

I bought him in my 2nd season in my current game, €9.75M. 20 goals in 28 Apps for a 21 year old. Liverpool bidded €33.5M a season later and the chairman sold him without my consent. Im raging.

Guess I'm gonna have to sell Miller + Magic + Thommy G to get him, my currrent main strikers are JVoH and Eddie Johnson with Diego Buonanotte just behind them..

Liverpool have offered 3 Mil for Wilson, Arsenal are also interested though should I hold out?

 

Dont sell Wilson, he's worth about 15M id reckon, hard to find better for that money

I've never sold him in any games i've had yet i think

 

Chelski offered 6.75 Mil and the chairman sold him

Really need a good Wing Back on the right, Vanden Borre just went to Milan...

Got about 8.75 mil to spend since I got 2 Mil for Finnboggason from Birmingham.

 

According to my scouts, the following realistic right wing backs got recommended

Javier Flano (Originally Osasuna/Chelsea)
Dusan Basta (Red Star/Marseille)
Curro Torres (Free Agent in my game, previously loaned to leeds from Valencia)

I installed the pack but the faces havent updated.

I've noticed subtle changes like the small flags are now rounded but player faces havent loaded.

Ideas?

 

Didn't work first time I installed it either, try messing with the display settings in prefrences or reinstalling it.

Also try ticking "Use Skin Cache" in Display settings & restarting..

can you patch a downloaded version dempsy

 

I'm not sure, never did it myself. I bought mine as to not worry about cracks and patches because I had problems with a cracked version of 2005. Dont want to go back to my game crashing everytime on the same date.

What you need to find is a 7.0.1 crack, patch it, run the crack and pray that it works.
