NYC bikers V Range Rover

Should have called the police from his Range Rover. If it's as it seems, I can't blame him for feeling intimidated. Clowns riding around on bikes like that in front of cars.

 

Call the police? What good is that? It takes them 45 minutes or longer to respond in most instances. By then you are already roughed up / dead.

You have to defend yourself.

 

Keep driving along the open highway and the police would catch up to you or send a helicopter if you say you're in a high speed chase with 100 bikers. I'm obviously speaking hypothetically and * knows what I'd do in that situation but this makes sense to me.

 

They all drove in front of him and stopped is how it initiated. He was trapped in his car. Thats why he floored it and ran over that biker.

 

Okay so once the decision has been made to floor it and run over several of them.... proceed to call the police: tell them what motorway you're driving down and the circumstances and I doubt they'd take 45mins this time round! Then hopefully the police bring everything to a stop somehow rather than driving off the highway into a traffic jam and then you're really trapped.

 

True, I see what you mean now. I am not sure if he stopped because of a traffic jam or if he stopped because he realised that the one fellow was seriously hurt/killed and he stepped out to reason with them. But he stopped and got out of his car and that is when the biker did a number on his face and chest with a knife. He's lucky to be alive to be honest.

In the society we live in, in America, even though we have one of the largest police forces in the world, if you call the police because someone is breaking into your house, or about to kill you otherwise, they normally take up to 45 minutes to respond. Then if you defend yourself, and it results in a death, you will likely have to stand trial for murder in many areas. Whereas if they suspect there's a small amount of drugs in your house or something like that, they'll be at your place in minutes, with handcuffs out and guns drawn, ready to bring you in. Its just a sad testament to the society that we live in.

The driver had stopped. What i want to * know is were where the police.

Being a biker myself i have had run ins with * in range rovers trying to intimidate me. Wouldn't move over for them due to traffic so they try and run me off the road.
On the inside lane of M23 at slip for M25 i was in middle of lane on my cruiser. * in a Range Rover deliberately forced me onto hard shoulder and his pal and him laughed like *. They got stuck in traffic and M25 was completely packed so traffic was at a standstill at least for cars..
I was furious. Just went up the inside of them as they had stopped. Tapped window then smiled, gave them the finger and smashed off the wing mirror and left.

 

Indeed. Anyone who's driving around in the US with their family in their car should be prepared to defend themselves...

It's a pity he didn't flatten more of the cowardly *.He should never have stopped driving until outside a cop station.
