You'll be eating your words when freddie sneak's his way into that team and stay's there.

And what's that all about calling paddy "paddy one lung", you need a good slap ove the head for that statement, total disrespect you have for that guy with statements like that, give your head a shake man. What sort of supporter are you coming off with * like that!.

For me it's just a number, as already stated, Juninho, Zuraski, Keane and McDonald all wore 7, and they aren't classed the same as the likes of Larsson and Johnstone.

He's useful for his experience & influence til the end of the season, and hopefully he'll get a chance to show he can still contribute on the park. However i'd rather we let him go & make a big signing for that position in the summer.

:31:, he is the big signing for that position, youll all be eating your words when he stars preforming. Players like him dont lose there skills, the fella looks after himself well and when he gets into that team then i cant see noone taking his place. watch this space.

i think he is a good signing in the sense that he will give some of the younger players guidance and he is a good person to have in the squad due to his experience.

Waste of a number and a waste of a signing, hes not done nothing here just came off the bench passed a ball around and picked up thousands, what a waste.

Lol its only a number if they guy scores 50 goals a season would u complain then ifsome of our team pick up any of his traits when he was at his peak then I won't complain the guy is someone I'd love to come of the bench with 20 mins to go as he can pass the ball really well and is strong can hold it up well

Remember too he'll be in pre-season training mode just now, I think the American season ended 3 months ago so he's likely to only have been training and playing like a footballer since he joined us and I wouldn't expect competitive 90 minute games to be played in the first month.

Wee Juninho was a wee crackin player, he proved it as you say, in his first game for us against the Huns. I honestly dunno why wee O'Neil signed him when it was obvious he wouldn't fit into his game plan, remember back then O'Neil relied on brute strength and height, alongside ability, Juninho had the abilty alright, but he didn't posses the brute strength that Martin required. I still class him as a world class star who wore our famous hooped number 7 :celt_2:

needs a chance to prove himself and i mean more than 10/20 mins at the end of a game, wouldn't change anything atm though.

think its great for the players to train with him week in week out like the week were they got to train with larsson its a major boost for them, and toward the end of the sesason i suspect he'll prove his worth in big games.
