We would have spent the money on this guy 10 years ago.

 

at a time when money wasn't being looked after as well as it should have, yeah I agree that we probably would have, but now with the ever declining state of scottish football and the lack of money that comes with it gets harder and harder to spend money on players

 

I think the problem is that Celtic were told (probably by an agent) that this guy would only cost 1M. Huseklepp himself also thought he had an agreement with Brann that he could leave for 1M. But Brann said there was no such agreement and they wanted 2M. If you have to pay double what you were being told, than you would tell someone to * off as well wouldn't you.

 

Your manager has seen him in international games for Norway, and he says that he`s impressed. Doesn`t excactly reflect that in the laughable price Brann are offered. Just to put it in perspective: Some transfers between clubs in Norway happen to have the price-range 8-10 mill. Rosenborg would gladly pay what Celtic offers, or more, just to get him.

In Bergen we`re happy to enter the season with our best player still in our ranks, perhaps he does good in both national and club games, and perhaps he gets his dream fullfilled to get abroad, either to the summer or after the season.

Bad move for Celtic, this guy would help us win the league he is worth 2M. Short sighted from Celtic. I hope this transfer window doesn't come back to haunt us like the past couple of January windows.

I'd say he is worth extra money they are asking for him. We desperately need a decent striker and the other guys we are reportedly looking at don't fill me with the least bit of optimism for the rest of the season.

he hasnt done anything out of the ordinary than our current celtic players. Scott brown, odea, mcgeady have all been involved in fights in glasgow.

People recognise them then try and have a go and because they are well know they are first ones to be caught by the police while everyone else runs away never to be found or punished.

He is a young player and i am sure lennon will be able to advise him on avoiding trouble.

However i dont think he is what celtic need at the moment but would love to buy him for the future

 

I think that this window will be last chance to get him cause he'll either be taken down south to a lower end prem team or the huns will get him.

A hun ? as in a rangers fan ? our history is littered with players who were not celtic fans and a lot of cases were actually rangers fans but who cares who they support ??

 

Kenny miller as we know is a hun and when he scored against them you couldnt tell he was a hun. Now you can right enough lol
