    No way that'll be it, couldn't be it. What happens if a CB gets injured? Back to Bitton.

    Edouard away and a good chance Leigh is away on loan to Dundee (thank *) who does that leave as natural strikers? Ajeti and the Greek lad?

    Christie will leave a gap in midfield, granted Rogic can fill that but that leaves very little depth.

    Can't see it only being Jota and Georgios coming in. That would be insane.

    Think Anthony Joseph is a good guy, but he is incredibly unreliable when it comes to deals with us.

    We need at least 4 players signed by tomorrows deadline, realistically we need a CB, CM, LW, LB and ST. We've seemingly got the LW and ST but I don't see us signing a LB with Bolingoli still at the club, hopefully we get a CM and CB.

    If our centre mid options are McGregor, Rogic, Turnbull, McCarthy and Soro. That's just not enough at all.

    Not getting my hopes up. It will be the 2 done deals and a loan if even that. The same happens every year and we always buy in to a few signing on deadline day and * all happens

    Yeah that isn't great is it. Christie in probably our biggest game was deemed to be best utilised as a CM and ahead of a couple of those mentioned, so if he goes and we don't strengthen there it would be very disappointing. We are also crying out for another CB yet there's been zero rumours for either position.

    Yeah takes us weeks to conclude one deal so can't see us completing several in one day..

    Seriously need another Midfielder in.. from last season we have lost Broony Ntcham and now Christie and replaced them with an unfit Mccarthy and diddy from Sheffield...

    That’s what I’m expecting as well tbh even though we need a lot more now if Eddie and Christie are offski as well.

    See if this about Giakoumakis and Jota plus possibly a loan CB is true it’s a total shambles.

    We are threadbare as it is losing Christie and Edouard for at least £16m and only signing direct replacements. I can’t see us accepting the £1m for Christie being true but anyway, £16m in and signing a £2m striker and two loans surely not.

    If we are selling Christie and Edouard we need 3 or 4 minimum in addition to Jota and Giakoumakis. A LB, CB, CM and another forward.

    What I don't get (well one of the things..) is why anyone is surprised at another * omnishambles by our board. Nothing is EVER going to change. They need routed by an angry mob. It's never going to happen.

    Its a tough market to do business in. They've been trotting this excuse out long before Covid and Brexit. When you're on the Celtic board every year is a tough year to do business when you don't like parting with cash.

    Not taken them long to get AP singing from the same hymn sheet I see. Deadline day again and we are scrambling around at the last minute.
