Reading between the lines of Ronnys press conference , he put a large emphasis on not needing to spend money, and stressing that developing players rather than buying them is the way forward. Concerns me that we may have our leanest transfer window yet.
Or am i being paranoid ? imo we need a more complete, powerful goalscorer up top as well as centre back cover and another central midfielder.

I just think he means not spending alot of money (not as if that was going to happen anyway).
I would expect him to want to bring in at least a couple of players to make his own mark on the side. -
We'll spend money. His comments would be a long term thing. He'll get the players he needs for the here and now but long term he wants to promote from within.
Just enjoy it man, this is a bold move from the club and I for one am excited to see what the future holds. -

I would be happy with a challenger for Izzy and maybe a striker. Think we're ok other than that. -

1 or 2 million that will be it.

I'd rather we did this. We seem to have a knack for unearthing gems via youth or buying for buttons and selling for coats. Also we could * a lot of money on a dud and never hear the end of it. Canny win. I'd maybe change that just for Finbo right enough.

Aye hopefully he is made aware of Robertson. I'm not as fussed about Gauld or Armstrong but Robertson looks set to be Scotlands left back for the next 10 years plus.

Sacastic or a propor cynical comment mark?
Think we may lose some players, it's been on the cards for a couple of seasons but those are to be expected.. Let's just see what happens. -
-
he wasnt bought as spending manager he was bought as someone who can manage on a low budget and promote from within
so we might well get......... no * lol
and even if forster, vvd and kayal left we'd most probably still win the league in a canter
looking forward to his 433 high pressing Celtic team none the less -
He will spend what the club can afford....simple as that.

Probably the pick of the bunch from his old club is the best we can expect in terms of transfers let's hope one them is a striker as could be no worse than Pukki.
-
i think we will sign 3-4 players for 5-10m !

To be honest if he uses the academy better and supplements that with good quailty then I'd be happy.
Lennon was better at promoting youth than some managers we have had but also didn't develop decent prospects like McGeouch, Watt, Twardzik etc. as much as I hoped. Would be nice to see a stronger core squad rounded out by youngsters with real potential. -
-
We have a decent squad of players, a new manager with new ideas, formations, tactics etc may go a long way instead of another overhaul of a squad - just yet.
Assuming no one leaves (if they do, then replacement needed) we have a solid goal keeper, a perfect back four, quality in the midfield. decent wide men, and * knows how many strikers/attackers.
Assuming his ideal is 433 - then forster, lustig, van dijk, izzy - you wouldn';t want better than that without breaking the bank.
Brown, biton, johansen - brilliant players, and this guy seems like he will get the best out of them.
Forrest and Derk on the wide - yeah maybe could see another in there, maybe his own style of player.
up front Stokes/Griffiths/Watt/Commons (wide?), Pukki and Balde - he'll find his striker amoungst that surely?
Add in the youngsters, fisher, matthews (not so much youngster)( henderson, atajic, mcmullan, twardzik, george etc etc, there is a squad right there for you. he doesn't need to overhaul it and spend millions.
I'd like to think he will bring one or two scandanavian players over this summer, then sound out the team over the season.
