I said this in a the match thread but anyoen who thinks Aberdeen can't win the title this year is kidding themselves.

we beat them 4-0 last year at this stage to destroy any confidence or belief they had in themselves about challenging us for the league, we've now lost to them twice this season which will give them that confidence and belief in themselves which we absolutely had to squash, and a team with confidence and belief are obviously far more dangerous than one without it.

Last night's game was more than just a fight for 3 points, it's was a psychological battle and we lost and that could prove to be our downfall this season.

We cannot drop another point now till the season is over imo and I don't trust Deila to go 14 league games without dropping a point, he has to go now.

For things to change the Board need to grow a pair and admit they got it wrong. A blind man can see how far we have fallen in such a short space of time. Not just in the league, but total failure also two seasons running in Europe is simply not acceptable.

Even if by some miracle we were still to win the double for me that wouldn't be enough to warrant keeping RD and listening to the same promises week after week. Maybe it is unfair to lay all the blame at his door but any manager who for whatever reason cannot inspire players to perform does not deserve to be our manager.

This is how I feel too. My original premise was that he had earned the right to finish this season and challenge for a treble (now double) and then use the January and summer windows to strengthen the squad for a crack at Europe. But time and time again, he's let himself down.

I have never in my lifetime witnessed a Celtic team in my generation not having a clue what to do when up against the wall.

Tactics are sloppy, players have no confidence and there is no fight, grit or determination to get back into games.

Our set pieces last night was an absolute shambles.

The board need to act now and admit Ronnys reign is over.

We will still win the league i think but the style of play is horrible and certainly not the Celtic way or the Celtic that i have witnessed all my life.

    Time to go Ronny

If I were Lawwell I would be giving my Manager his choice of backroom staff and stop lumbering him with my pal Dudu Dahan's charges.

What if they are players signed for him by a Board that thinks it knows better when it comes to football?

He isn't blameless but then he shouldn't be made to carry the can for everything either.

He must go, it is clear that tactically he is terrible and unable to inspire performances. There is the basis of a decent squad there but they need a manager to galvanise and organise them. A change must be made now.

    Don't see how that matters.

The 11 players we had on the park last night and on Sunday are better in every area of the park then those of Aberdeen and Ross County.
And certainly paid a lot more.

The manager has * up. He picks the teams, sets them up and trains them everyday. Not the board. The manager.

Football signings are now by committee for top clubs all over Europe. Only teams with next to no scouting will allow a manager full say - like the rest of the SPL for example.

Absolving Ronny of the signings made is a cop out - he has a say.

The lack of cohesion, tactical nous, spirit, belief and work rate comes from the manager. Not Lawell no matter how much you'd love that to be the case.

The guy is a dud. We need to move on asap.

Apparently it's never Ronny's fault. Even when he says all the signings are his people still invent situations to absolve him of blame.

    It's bizarre.

He should have been sacked in December at latest to allow a new manager to get to know the team and get rid of the duds and bring in new players in the january transfer window.
The guy has absolutely no tactical nous when it comes to being behind with only 10 men on the park.
The current team are absolutely clueless in how to handle this situation, either.

People forget the points difference last year between us and Aberdeen was only the games against the us and Aberdeen. So far they've rectified that and with 2 more games against each other they could easily win this league. Ronny out before its too late.

I think with some people they want to be able to say "See i was sticking by Ronny when we were total *. Now we've won the Champions League get it roon ye!!!!"

    Or something like that.

I do agree about the board, do believe it meddles in signings, however I don't trust Ronny anyway now, that's long gone.

The Ronny Roar had me for a wee bit longer than it probably should have.

I see his lack of tactics and willingness to change a failing philosophy as the main downside though.

However I still believe with or without him, we'll win the league, actually Aberdeen will probably get humped by St Johnstone at the weekend, they'll bottle it as they always do.

It just seems now that if a team ups their game, they can beat us now.

Aberdeen have 3 away games on the trot. If they win all 3 it will definitely be squeaky * time.

It's not even a debate anymore regarding meddling with signings. Look at Tonev. It was one * of a coincidence that Deila wanted to sign him a year after Lennon failed to.

Also Dudu Dodo whaterver. That is also one * of a coincidence that we buy most of our players from one guy independent of whos in our dugout.

What bothers me though is why do people only ask questions when we are laying in the gutter? This was true years ago and people didnt want to know.

Nah, the players are grown men and should be able to motivate themselves. I think the 'incite fear' coaching method is somewhat archaic.

I don't think we're pish, you and others really need to drop the condescending act as if your opinion is the one everyone should have.

I've seen pish Celtic sides and this isn't one. It lacks a plan B, it lacks defensive organisation and it has a * keeper. Those are my opinions.

It's also my opinion when it has clicked under Deila it's been the best football we have played since the heady days of Lubo, Larsson, Sutton, Hartson et al. Minus a star anywhere near that level of quality.
