    Hello everybody. I'm new here so it's nice to meet you all.
    I'm from Israel and i've followed this extraordinary club for a while, we have two channels here that broadcast the Scottish Premier League's matches every matchday. Since Beram Kayal is currently (and hopefully for much longer) playing at Celtic, the media is mostly focusing on their matches and that's how i've started to follow this club.
    As for Nir Biton, first of all congratulations for getting this wonderfull talent. I'm sure he will do great. Nir is a defensive mid, although he usually tries to help and make it in the attacking part. He tackles well, he likes to shot from long range and he mostly built SC Ashdod's game. I have noticed there is a confusion with his international caps. He has played for the U21 team and not for the first, mature team (Not just yet). But, the first team manager surley is considering him for the future plans.
    Hope I didn't get you guys tired of all this reading.

    He can play both roles. If you watch the videos you can get of Nir online, he's a crafty tackler. Good at catching teams on the hop.

    The reported approximate figures for each player were £1.8m for Balde, £2.4m for Van Dijk, and £3m for Boerrigter. Now the £700,000 we've reportedly paid for Nir Biton takes it to £7.9m.

    Cheers guys. I think he has the matching skills and he just needs the experience. The Israeli football is much different from the Scottish one, much less agressive and a bit slower. Nir is tall for his position so he can get along with the set pieces and headers when he is needed. Strength is something he has worked about for a long time since it's very important for his position and I think he will improve a lot in the future. Hope you will enjoy with him playing.

    Don't worry Celtic will bulk him up, also he looks pretty quick at times on the YouTube stuff I've seen, Looks very good with both feet. Glad we have another big guy in the team.

    Welcome DesmondHume. I am delighted to have Nir Biton here. I welcome any player to our Club. I have a good feeling that he will work out very well here. Hopefully he will settle in with Berem and Effe, who he knows from his time from Ashdod. By the way, I know Eyal is from Israel who has posted here before. Please don't be put off by some here, who question Israeli policy towards your near neighbours ( Gaza/West Bank) from time to time.
