They have as much right to live there as the Palestinians now? Yes, I agree. That is the unfortunate reality of the mess that we, the Americans and the zionists have created. They don't have the right to their current religious, apartheid government, though. Absolutely not. And that's what their army fights for and what's usually meant by "recognising Israel's right to exist".

As for what to do about land belonging to Palestinians in exile that has now been "owned" by jewish families for generations, I pity the person that has to try and find a just solution to that.

Well I for one have defended British soldiers (not the British army!) on here for that very reason.

Biton has disgraced the club and disgraced himself. A club like Celtic should not be embracing those with zionist tendencies. We are not a club open to all and we never have been. Zionism flies in the face of everything Celtic stands for.

Adolf Hitler gave many of the orders for the evil deeds carried out by the *'s; he didn't post a poem on social media wishing safety for German soldiers fighting * wars.

As I said above, if Biton's post had been gloating about the oppression of the Palestinians or glorifying the atrocities commited by the IDF, I'd absolutely want him gone. That's not what he did as far as I understand, though.

My point is that Hamas will not recognise the Israel's right to a state, I am against both sides for that reason.

 

Surely it will always be alright to fly the tricolour as it is the flag of the origins of the club and most supporters.....the Palestinian flag has * all to do with Celtic.Infact i agree with Marky that it irks me too.
I find it annoying, that in my opinion the Palestinians are only supported because the PLO had some tenuous link to the IRA!
Thats not say i dont understand why some individuals personally feel strongly about Palestine, but it has become like a pet project to follow among the support, now the "troubles" are not there!

I dont see any support for any other groups from other areas of the world.Somalia, Nigeria, Columbia, Sri Lanka......its a very long list, and there is no support from Celtic Park for any of these areas.Why Palestine?

Israel don't have the right to a state, though. That's just the point. They have no right to a Jewish apartheid state like they have now. Such is the mix of population now that any viable state will have to be secular, treat all its citizens (Jewish, Muslim or other) equally and probably not have the name "Israel".

 

Kayal has a "good" rapport because he is arab/Israeli and therefore has not annoyed anyone. So if the club had done more homework ..
Oh and I am not arguing against signing Israelis, as far as I am concerned if Biton wishes to support his family/friends etc that is his choice and his alone.
