    I actually really like him as a CB. Admittedly I wouldn't want him there all season but he's much more suited to it than I expected.

    Shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line-up on Sunday. He does well in games that he gets time on the ball to pick passes and that's not going to be the case against the Tributes.

    The half haircut hombre will be chasing him down constantly, kicking, elbowing, the lot and that's when Bitton goes into his shell.

    We should've had a 4th CB in long before now.

    He was a weak link last night. On the ball he's fine but he loses his man too easily for a centre half. He'll get roasted against a team like Lazio.

    Felt sorry him when he went off, he looked absolutely gutted (although I suppose that could’ve just been his injury).

    He was absolutely strolling it today as well, easily one of his most assured performances at CB. While he’s not a starter when we’re at full fitness, he’s a good hand to have around.

    Hans down best performance in this position I've seen from Nir. As said above strolled it. Fair play cus the fella has been bit part in last wee while so to do that when your called on is * superb.
