Biton has not completely fully recovered from his operation yet which is the reason he hasn't played yet, don't be surprised if he doesn't even play a match in pre-season as one of the new managers main policy's is never to rush a player back form injury incase it aggrivates it, just as he is doing with Forrest also currently.

He will be coming into the side for the next game I reckon. Deila has said he wants to get him up to speed especially with Brown being out now.

    Looking forward to seeing him.

Hope you're right, a midfield three of Kayal, Biton and Johansen could be great and would make it hard for anyone to get back in the side if they stay at the top of their game each time.

Can't wait to see more of Biton, he was playing really well before his injury. A midfield three of Biton, Brown and Johansen sounds good. Unfortunately we'll have to wait a while to see it.

Good to see plenty of depth in midfield if we play 4-3-3 with kayal ( if he gets his old form back) ,
Johansen, biton , commons, brown and Henderson

Only problem is I dont see Henderson getting much game time with there being 5 other midfielders and only 3 places

It's never a problem for a manager or fans when you have too many players capable of playing in the same position . That's the situation every manager seeks to have for every position . There has never come a season yet where injuries , suspensions and lost of form hasn't meant that all top players for any outfield position don't get the opportunity to show what they can do.

Don't worry Kayal will pick an injury soon, he always does when he is getting match fit again and then getting a run in the wide he will end up out for months again.

Really wish Kayal would stay fit for a full season cause he is a great player fully fit but in all the time he has been here that's the main thing that's let him down.

Fingers crossed it will change this season but I'm not going to bet on it.

For the time Brown is out the midfield three should be,

    Henderson Johansen
    Commons

Commons being pushed forward in an attacking role just behind the striker and Henderson and Johansen as defensive cover/ box to box.

Struggling to see how Biton will impact this season but the new manager will give him his chance.

I think Biton is another (along with Pukki) of whom we will see really good development this year under the new manager. He already showed last year how much raw talent he has, but is exactly that, raw. And with our new coaching team, especially Collins who played the position, (in quite contrast to NL who played different type of midfield) can help him with that growth. I'd like to see him bulk up a bit - I'm sure the fitness staff are working on that with him, to get some greater upper body strength that you need for midfield. But he definitely excites me as player with tremendous potential. The timing of his injury was unfortunate as he was coming on to a good run of form.

I think there's space in Deila's set up for Biton, in fact he could well flourish in it. The same type of role as Busquets at Barca a few of years ago and up until recently. Obviously not comparing the two but the roles they play within the team could turn out to be very similar.

On the right side of a 4-3-3 I think the kid would be very good,he has played a similar roll before for us.
