I fully agree with you, it would actually be unfair to give him game time over those two since they seem to have the talent and in 45 mins today looked more determined than he has the last year. 0 passion out of him, 0 hustle, slows the game down in a match were we have a high tempo. I really liked him a couple of seasons ago but he is now nowhere near our first team quality. Punt him and let the other lads have their chance

Yeah you clearly know all the intricacies of the situation mate. Not like it's the most complicated geopolitical issue in the world. But glad you have a such a grasp on the situation. You should call someone important and let them know.

I would do the same thing coming from Serbia, guy is simply not good enough (if he ever was) and doesn't fit into Brendan's system.

This is all true but regardless i think its unfair i dont think any other player would take as much flak for a poor performance in a friendly, i dont get the lack of effort thing either hes a laid back calm player which has been beneficial to us at times tok, for the record aye i do think hes done here but its just the principle lol

It's not just yesterday's performance though is it, as said numerous times he clearly has ability but either through lack of interest or just sheer will he lets his teammates down, he has had umpteen chances now and is mostly consistent at being inconsistent so time he was moved on.

One thing that absolutely does my head in is when Gerry McDade is commentating on Celtic games and he insists on saying Bitton's name with some kind of weird French accent (which is totally bizarre given neither of them is French!!!)

Bitton I expect has high probability of being gone by end of this window, if a half-decent offer comes in for him. He has slipped waayyy down the order and will go even lower as Kouassi comes of maturity & progression. But he is definitely well behind Ntcham, Armstrong & McGregor.
It's too bad - I think there is a player in there if he would give a * (but seems like he doesn't lot of the time)

I have him behind Brown, Armstrong, Rogic, McGregor, Ntcham, Kouassi. He's surely off.

I didn't include Brown (he's a given) and Rogic doesn't play in same position
Kouassi I think will not be long - just needs a bit more experience.
BR might still use Bitton off the bench late in games to protect a lead if need be as fair to say is still better defensively than Armstrong or McGregor - although both of those work twice as hard in tracking back if playing in more advanced role.

    McDade or Bitton? :56:

Judging by his name he's probably a Sephardic Jew, hailing from one of the latin European countries where the Jewish minority speak/spoke Ladino (hybrid of Hebrew and Latin languages). The pronunciation is probably right.

I say we keep the big *. He's good for the morale in the squad and has showed that he can deliver at a decent level, although not the most consistent player I've seen. And the last thing we need now is to shave our squad.

Exactly, no one wears a proper beard in our squad although Gordon with his three days beard is looking well.

Griff and Shitci too, but Gordon is the only one looking good with it. All these are no full beards though.
