Yes what he did was foolish and idiotic and may have caused us to go down a goal.

It was a two-footed tackle, so I think it's a red by the book.

Crazy unnecessary tackle. Reds are given more often than not in todays game for tackles like that.

Im not sure if he deserved it. But he cant complain about it.

The Ajax player didnt help him either.

Was harsh imo, had it been yellow nobody would of complained. It wasnt malicious, but it was a really rash tackle though and there was no need for it in all honesty though. He'll learn I'm sure but we're just fortunate that it was when it was and it didnt leave us a man down with a good 10 mins to go

Looked bad when I was in the stadium but watched the replay and it's never a red card in a million years

Don't blame him, Ajax player was too busy helping himself trying to get as far away from Biton as possible. If he doesn't leap then his shin could be cracked in half.

Stupid challenge. He deserved what he got and I suspect our manager gave him a roasting after the match.

Was never a sending off in a million years, even the Ajax players looked shocked.

    Stupid tackle but. He'll learn.

The only way you prevent injuries is by taking malice out of the equation. It doesn't matter to the guy with a broken leg whether it was malicious or not and most horror tackles aren't necessarily some guy out to intentionally snap a leg. With that much recklessness I think it's warranted. Sereno was lucky that he jumped, the action should be punished and not the outcome in my opinion.

I agree that he done well to get out of the way, but the rolling on the ground really * me off.

Many game ban will he get compared to Broony? Bitons challenge was well more dangerous than Broonsters

Didn't catch that. Agreed that would be a bit much. I was probably busy burying my face into a pillow. :smiley-laughing002:

Wreckless tackle that he didn't have to make. He can't complain really.

Anyone got a video? Only seen a picture and looks a leg breaker if the guy doesn't get out the way.

Anything can result in a leg break though, look at Henrik's.

the guy saw him coming and was well out the way before contact was made. As I said it was reckless and a tad unnecessary, but he obviously went for the ball. I've seen alot worse tackles which aren't punished with a red, hence I think he only should of been booked. It was however a stupid tackle and that needs to be cut out his game.
