the anti-Lennon campaign which we've had for years is a disgrace. He has made a fantastic contribution to the club. Under MON he was a first pick - did we have so much success despite him being in the team, or was he one of the reasons we did well ?

1st of all.....Lennon rarely loses his head

2nd he did nothing wrong today especially to BOBOBHOY

3rd With the pressure Lennon recieves from fans is uncomparable to any other football player in the world and it is understandable if he losses his head even though he doesn't

 

You can care a lot without acting the ned. Its the ones who remain in control that are most useful in a bad situation, not the hotheads. Blowing a gasget=caring??

 

I'm sure most fans would back me up that incidents like the one at East End park showed Mc Geady, Lennon, and Boruc cared about Celtic which is only a good thing and shouldn't be slagged off by someone behind a computer

Lenny only does a spectacular once in a while his card record is not bad but he is always niggling and bickering in a way that brings no honour on the club. Its not usual to have a hothead as a captain.

 

Never said he did. I really like him. Just saying that you usually pick someone more cool headed as a captain.

 

Every comment on this site is by someone behind a computer. I am allowed an opinion and I think he is a good player who gets an unfair amount of grief but he is a bit of a hothead and it is more usual to pick coolheaded types as captain.

Lennon is not a hot head every single captain moans at his teams peformance if you actually woke up and smell the coffee you would realise Lennon gets great praise from fellow players and managers ie Frank Rijkaard

I will give you a wee bit of reality, the Celtic football club, wont let Lennon carryon the way he is going, no matter what you think, and if you think I am guessing wait and see!

GS was furious with the ref today, GS was happy for Lennon to appeal the decision

GS was happy to see a bit of passion at East End park

I said the Celtic football club, NOT the manager/coach.
I am not advocating it, I just figure the consequencies of a player that has and probably will again cause trouble for the club wont be allowed to do that, you see it doesnt matter what we may feel about Lennon being unfairly or otherwise picked on, Celtic have to deal with the SPL and FIFA.
