I think he's mentally checked out.

Previously I considered that this season is the most football he's ever played and it may be fatigue, but his performances don't indicate a fatigued player who's trying their best.

 

It’s a combination of that and I also think a big part as well that adds to it is Kyogo leaving has had an effect on them, they barely ever linked up and tat frustrated Kyogo but the amount of goals of his this season if you look back is when he’s cut in and used the space that Kyogo’s movement has dragged players away from was mental. It’s not quite the same and as easy without it, maybe the fatigue, a loss of confidence and the mentality and it all adds up until what we are witnessing just now.

 

Can't really remember too much of his performance today. Only that Forrest was far more effective.

You had Forrest skinning the man on his side, yet this guy comes on when they're out on their feet and is much quicker than Forrest....yet did he try and go on the outside, taking his man on once? I can't remember it..

Went back and inside tryna be safe and just clearly looks long gone for me..

 

You just need to compare his recent performances to Forrest and Yang prior to that, he's miles off it.

Said it earlier but he either went through a mental purple patch earlier on or he's already checked out.

I think he's 100% gone in the summer either way, still 6 games left to rediscover his earlier form but it's not looking likely.

 

Yeah, I agree with that. It would be a bigger shock if he is still here for the start of next season. From a poty contender to a guy where you just need to work harder to be better than him...pretty sad wasting away of talent.

We will be lining up a few options already I would imagine.
Would help if we get decent money for Kuhn.

 

I’ve heard a while ago there’s a deal pretty much in place for him to choose in the summer, in Germany and the Premiership. Verbal agreements deal wise with us.

Second hand information but the few things through who told me were spot on. He said about Frimpong to Germany, in September before he left that January. That point it was Bundesliga definitely, but was a coin toss between Dortmund and Leverkusen. I tend to believe him. But not claiming definite.

We need to keep Kuhn in the shop window, bring him on for the last twenty minutes or so, here and there.

 

Playing like he doesn't want to get injured , absolutely no care in the world. Makes sense his game time has dropped off aswell , pretty obvious he is off and it's all organised . His season for us ended after the UCL was done.

 

Wonder who's actually in for him, would take a bid of 20 mil plus. As long as we sign both a striker and a winger with that money.

Still not convinced he's better than Abada was

 

He's levels and levels above Abada when he wants to be..

Can beat a man
Better first touch
Close control/footwork

All of it really..

 

Wouldn't even be bringing him off the bench for the rest of the season. Cut in and hit the corner flag with a * attempt seems to be his go to nowadays.

 

I preferred Abada myself. He was more clinical, coming in on the blind side of full backs.
He took the pish out of that Barisic.

 

He is miles better than Abada.

 

I know he's not in the best of form but he's miles, and I mean miles, ahead of Abada when they're both at their best.

 

He'll be sold in the summer, and rightly so. He checked out months ago

 

Absolutely * abysmal performance from the bench today. Literally put zero intensity into his attacking play. Every time he "took on" the full-back, he didn't once look like shrugging him off. Had no interest in doing anything outside of trying to cut onto his left foot and trying a Leipzig-esque screamer.

Nowhere near it. Really, really disappointed in him since the Munich game.

Wouldn't be near the team for Tannadice or Ibrox for me.

 

Wrong attitude. Get him * punted. Hopefully some fool pays us big money.
