N'Guemo fights for deal..

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by 30stm87, Nov 28, 2009.

  1. the amount of diddies we spent around 1m on is unbelievable!!

i'd like to see nguemmo in his holding role with 2 wingers who can get to the by line and a good box to box midfielder who can get 10-20 goals a season (Ki sung Yong?)

i'd take him, sell brown and have money left for a good striker or defender who can come straight into the team.

  2. i also thought him and mcgeady were the only players who did well today, both of them were excellent.

I'm especially pleased for aiden, the amount of stick he is recieving on these forums is unbelievable.

His determination today for our second goal today was brilliant, if he could brush up his distribution and show that kind of fight on a regular basis then i reckon he could be a no bad wee buy.:celt_2:

  3. When he's on form he looks fantastic(like today) , but then he'll go off form and look *
    Not sure about him yet

  4. I like his style ive gotta admit and I suppose in january we wil have a better idea of were we are with players coming and going and maybe they will get him signed but theres no rush tbh

  5. Get him signed at that price it isnt a gamble , he has a fire in his belly at the moment , more than some !!!

  6. N'Guemo was fantastic today. In fact in general N'Guemo has been great for us all season. Tracking back, tackling, passing, jockeying, making himself available this guy has got a lot in his locker.

Our best player of the season so far, with Hinkel a close second.

You know what I hate though? This * sheep following myth that N'Guemo has one good game, then one * one and needs to find consistency. I remember he mispaced a few passes over a two game stretch and TM had a bit of a dig at him.

Since then the nodding dogs have picked that up as some sort of fact and spout it at the very metion of his name. It's lazy and unnecessary.

N'Guemo has been nothing short of great. so far. * forbid some people should think for themselves eh? :shamrock:

  7. id sign in him up. seems to be one of the few players here that shows the determination required to win the ball back after losing possession.

  8. I want to see more of what he done today on a weekly basis ,there is no doubting his commitment and his eagerness to play the game but today he cut out the silly mistakes and he was better for it ,but he must continue to put these kind of performances in.

  9. I reckon he is the best player that Mowbray has introduced to Celtic since he became manager, we runs all over the place, played very well today. I sincerely hope that he stays with us.

  10. The fact that he's only turning it on for a new deal has alarm bells ringing for me. You have to wonder why Nancy let him out on loan

  11. I'd sign him. He's been our best midfielder all season and with us having such an attacking midfield he fits in well as our sitting player.

  12. To be perfectly honest from what I've seen so far I wouldnt sign him. hes had a few good games the rest have been average / poor, Although I'll give him until the end of the season to win me round but at the moment its a no

  13. I said he would have to play like he did today every week to convince me but lets be honest here aswell ,Celtic were'nt actually playing one of the better teams either today where they.

  14. When he plays well, Celtic seem to play well, against killie he was good. I reckon he will improve and become consistent for us.

  15. If today he has shown he can cut out the mistakes then we should definitely sign him. All young players make mistakes, when they can cut out the mistakes, then they can become great players.

Its the first sign of improvement to look for IMO, that a young player can cut out their mistakes.

He has been the best centre mid so far his season. Definitely been better than Robson I think. He is first choice at the moment and should be signed I think.

He and Brown could be a great partnership. NGuemo being defensive and Brown getting forward to support the attack.

Also time will tell how he an Ki Sung Yong would so as a partnership, but it looks a good one for future...

  16. Robson has been better than n'guemo overall but n'guemo has shown sparks of quality. If he can get to that level consistently then i say get him in.

  17. Its the consistancy that is the biggest concern, as there have been games where he has shown real tenacity, and other games can be a completely empty shirt.

£1.5m is about the right sort of valuation of the player. Whether he should be bought... that remains to be seen.

  18. nothing special but i would sign him, a few kinks needing ironed out his game though

  19. I think we should sign him 1.5million isnt a bad price. some have said he has not been consistent enough but who has been this season they all have had there ups and downs.

Think he shows good fitting spirit and likes to get stuck in think he has been the best center midfielder so far this season and i think he will improve as time goes on and he plays like he did today against the better teams
