    Suits me;)
The sun in our eyes in the upper north middle is terrible at times with the glare of the top of the wee main stand. Anything that prevents this is a step forward in my opinion.
As for the season books, the club offereed everyone who did not have a season book in their name but had bought tickets from the ticket office a season book at the start of the season. This leads me to believe that we were nowhere near 53,000, and judging by recent attendences we may still not be.
The financial benefit of 20,000 more seat would be £400,000 a game at £20 a ticket, and more for Europe/Huns. A couple of good runs would pay for the stand although would we fill it, will it help/hinder the atmosphere and do we really need it?

They offered them a special season ticket not a full one for the 7,000 seats the Huns take. Recent matches have been sold out 2 weeks prior to matchday.
Secondly there is little atmosphere anyway so an extra 20,000 seats won't make any difference.

is the old stand not a listed building and thats why it isn;t like the other 3, if you look closely at the pictures of it in the past and now you can see that it is the same structure.

The old stand wasn't build until the start of the 70's. It's the school behind that stand thats listed. there is still a substanial gap between that and the stadium.

im all for it, although my reservation would be facing sitting in a temp stand for awhile or missing out totally until its built, as my ticket is in main stand. it would also look amasin, totally complete, because just now although great i think it looks unfinished. lookin at the picture of cp i have though and the boundary of other stands i think the school is defo a problem, because even if there is enough space, it would make it very awkward to build.

The waiting list at CP is long and getting longer. The old Stand needs to be renovated aswell, even if we didnt have a waiting list. The facilities in there are well below what is expected from a club of our size.

The problem is that alot of people wont have seats while they rebuild it. Thats the biggest problem.

I was on the waiting list for 3 years paying £30 a year for the 'huddle club' but was only ever offered crap tickets and could not get any for Milan,Barca or Huns!
