Perhaps they (Nike's designers) thought it looked better this way....or perhaps the design had to be signed off by Buckingham Palace....you could be right.

And all this coming from a club that brought out these tops....

Oh the hypocrisy of the deluded :87:

I think that away top of ours looks * stunning! One of the best that we have brought out.

Torn between getting this one or the home top now as I usually don't get away tops cos I love the Hoops too much but not sure what one to get now.

I like the tricolours on it:celt_2: It would be good if one sleeve had the tricolour and one had the saltier.

They do realise realise the tri-colour symbolises peace between Catholics and Protestants? Deluded.

    Beautiful kit.

I understand what your saying, and I would prefer it without it needed to be folded, but I disagree.

Surely if they were ashamed of it, they wouldn't have it at all?

Saying Celtic are ashamed of the tri-colour is absolute nonsense. We fly one above the stadium.

That's my point mate. I'm not having a go at all, Rude Bhoy there's nothing wrong with preference to style or wanting to display it more visibly. But suggesting that there is something sinister behind a folding sleeve......cmon boyo! :50:

Glad you can roll down the tricolour part, it ruins the strip design tbh. There is no ulterior motive for rolling it down though, that's just an absurd suggestion:56:

It is the price. £55 L/S. Shocking price but not shocked. Like it enough to pay that though.

One sleeve up and one down CSC.

What many of them don't seem to realise is that the tricolour pre-dates the Republic and Celtic by DECADES. And that the gold comes from the gold harp of the older Irish flag.

Either way, I couldn't give a * if it's orange or gold or whatever. Petulance and ignorance of the highest order though, eh.:56:

I think it makes the strip to be honest.

Fair enough, I don't think it suits the strip:50: It'd look better on a white top I reckon.

Was cynical about what it would be like as the recent away kits haven't been great, but that is * brilliant!
