I'm the exact same, some things I'd normally give up on have been some of the best movies, tv shows, docs iv seen, watched the short game last night about kid prodigy golfers was really interesting

Pretty brutal story to be honest. I was avoiding listening to people who were talking about it so I knew very little about the story.

 

Narcos Mexico season 2. Good but not up to the same standard as season 1 or the other Narcos series imo.

 

Eventually watching * Education, love it.

 

The wee lassie is the double of Margot Robbie.

Is it just me who admires this guy?

You know, apart from all the killing...?

 

A like some of his views,about technology etc.still don't know why he felt the need to kill injure people etc.he could have helped make the world aware through peaceful means,people might have took his ideas more seriously.actually just about to watch the doc about the Unabomber on netflix.really enjoyed the series.

 

I've not finished watching the series but I see the documentary. That will be getting binged afterwards.

He went about it the wrong way but there is no doubting his philosophy.

You, me and he knows that his message wouldn't have gotten out there if he planted daisies instead of bombs though.

Still not advocating bombs. Swear.

It's in his journal, that people only take notice when in the form of violence it's the shock to the system that changes minds, or something like that, for me the guy was bang on the money and that was in the 80s his views seems more revalant today

That does not excuse his crimes but its quite a profound statement.

I employed some serious artistic interpretation there but its practically true.

YouTube and Netflix have said they will reduce the streaming quality of videos to avoid straining the internet due to the unprecedented usage during the coronavirus pandemic.

Millions of people are working from home across the European Union in order to tackle the COVID-19coronavirus outbreak, which is now confirmed to have infected more than 244,000 people worldwide.


"Streaming platforms, telecom operators and users... have a joint responsibility to take steps to ensure the smooth functioning of the internet during the battle against the virus propagation," the EU's markets and services commissioner, Thierry Breton, said yesterday.


In a statement, YouTube said it was complying with the commissioner's request for a month: "We are making a commitment to temporarily switch all traffic in the EU to standard definition by default."

A spokesperson for Netflix said the company was also acknowledging Mr Breton's concerns.


"We estimate that this will reduce Netflix traffic on European networks by around 25% while also ensuring a good quality service for our members," they added.

Despite Mr Breton's request, internet service providers have not reported a sharp increase in peak traffic - although peak times, normally between six and nine in the evening, are beginning much earlier.
