Well said. Neil Lennon is a personal favourite of mine and will be sorely missed. The way he spoke about the club and supporters in the last few days was immense. Hail hail Lenny.

I think it was the emotion of knowing it was his last game and he was brought off surprisingly, in his eyes. He was back in the dug-out before long.

Thanks for everything Neil. You'll go down as a Celtic Great. You gave us your best 7 years and you left as Captain of a double winning team. Best wishes for your future and I'm sure you'll be no stranger to Paradise in the years ahead

its simple.... he had many more great games than bad games.... and when he had a bad game his courage committment anfd fight carried us through.... a celtic great..(look at his medal haul if in doubt 0) working class hero lived the dream.
to all you doubters... just simply say thank you and be on your way.... and watch for the "i never thought i'd miss lennon as much " thread next season -

I thought that Lenny was excellent today, aye his legs are away - but he's always there & very seldom give the ball away.

Spot on. He gave the ball away less than Caldwell who took his place. Lennon is a gem in midfield and will be sorely missed.
